This blanket has so much going for it: it is covered in a plush fabric and you can’t feel the wires at all which is a ‘first’ for me; the elasticated skirt means the blanket goes on the bed just like a fitted sheet does, which means it doesn’t ruck up at all. I have a mattress topper on my bed and the elastic skirt is easily deep enough to cope with the extra mattress depth. But, best of all the blanket heats from edge to edge and top to bottom with no cold spots. The dual controls, one for each side of the bed work well and the blanket heats up quickly. And, finally, the electric cord connections are at the top of the bed, one on each side, and go under the pillows, so no more hard plastic digging into your shoulder. Why do all other manufacturers place their connections in totally the wrong place when it’s so simple to get it just right, like this electric blanket does. Very good electric blanket. I wish i had bought it earlier rather than suffer cold feet in bed! It heats up quickly and has two separates heated sides for two people in double bed offering a choice of on or off and also separate variable settings. I can not feel the wires when i lie on it. It is designed to be on all night if needed. Very good for back pain sufferers! No more hot water bottles risking leak and burning skin. This blanket is excellent value for money. I am pleased with it and hoping it will last a long time. Its electricity consumption is not bad at all!

Nice and soft, large skirt to tuck in, heats up very quickly, very cosy, the only downside is that the very top row of the blanket doesn't get that warm . I only use half of it as I like one side cool, hence the dual controls. took a while to straighten the wiring. On the whole it is a good blanket and value for money

Really pleased with this electric blanket. I was still using it in March when it was chilly in the mornings and evenings after it had been sunny in the day. It saved putting the heating on. I only use Level 3 and that’s definitely warm enough for me. I’ve positioned mine under a slightly padded duvet protector and obviously the top bed sheet. I absolutely love the design of this heated blanket as there;s no faffing about with running straps and cords under the mattress. They’re difficult and a pain if you’ve got a heavy mattress. This one fits like a fitted mattress with the stretchy skirt. Brilliant because it stays firmly in place and doesn’t move about and get ruffled up under the bed sheet like the strapped ones. Really don’t know who/why anyone would by the strapped ones to be honest. This design is far superior. The heat distribution is even, apart from about 1.5 inches round the edges. I’m 5ft 9” and it heats up right down to my feet. It doesn’t heat under the pillow area. I also think the dual control feature is a complete game-changer. You and your partner now can choose when you have the blanket on. I have my side on way more than my hubby. I love a warm bed to get in to probably about 8 months of the year 😂. With dual controls I can heat my side whenever I want. The lead comes from just below the pillow area on each side, and its not under you at all. It’s in a position that doesn’t poke you in the top of the arm, so you don’t know its there. You do need a plug socket available each side of the bed for the dual contols. This heated blanket also has a very deep side skirt on it which is stretchy and even fits our VERY deep Tempur mattress. Really impressed with my purchase. Love its flexibility of heating one side or both sides of the bed and how securely it sits under the sheet. Loving my cosy toasty warm bed now. So yummy to put on in the morning on days I stay in bed for a bit reading a book. Got it on a deal price of £35 for a King. Highly recommend.

This is by far the best electric blanket I've ever had. I love the way it fits over the mattress, no annoying strings! I look forward to going to bed, the hest settings are amazing I've bought far dearer blankets that are not a patch in.this one. 5 stars not enough. Can't recommend this blanket enough. Will be buying more and throwing out my other blankets.

I'm particular about my heated underblanket. There are a few non negotiables. It has to have a skirt. Straps on each corner, or (even worse) two strings going underneath the mattress just won't do. I sleep very poorly as it is. Getting up an additional half dozen times every night to wrestle the blanket back into place isn't an option. The skirt on this product is especially generous. It allows me to secure it to my very deep Emma mattress with material to spare. I seriously doubt that there is a mattress on the market that would not be compatible with this product. I like dual controls for the flexibility aspect. In my view, it's worth the extra few pounds. The fleecy layer is a huge plus. You don't feel the wires as much with that. I'm extremely happy with my new electric blanket. It's well manufactured and does exactly what it is meant to do. The level of heat is perfect. The extent of the blanket providing said heat is absolutely fine for me. The choice of heat levels is very useful, allowing me to turn it down and to leave it on when it's colder. Please ignore the negative reviews. All of the issues reported are clearly user error. Electric blankets don't like being consistently messed with. The most likely reasons for failure being the power cord being exposed to a lot of moisture or the fragile wires being broken by too much manipulation. Such issues are your responsibility. Not the seller's. On a side note, I was very impressed with the seller's customer service. I paid extra for next day delivery at around 5pm. I was astounded to receive the blanket by 3pm the next day. I found (and still find) this electric blanket to be very good value for money. Amazon were the cheapest for this spec too.

Easy to fit over mattress and soft comfort to sleep on. Has three different level of heat controls which gives your bed a warm cosy feel to your liking.

Only 4 stars because these are my initial impressions (received yesterday). Fits my granddughter's single bed perfectly - despite the mattress being quite deep. I like the fact that it doesn't have straps that go under the mattress or elasticated 'loops' that only go over the corners but it has an elasticated valence that fits around the whole bed. I also like the fact that the connection to the mattress is alongside the pillow - so that you don't unintentionally roll onto it in your sleep - the blanket on our bed has this connection at shoulder level and is rather uncomfortable - which we solved by putting two fluffy facecloths over the top of it. Third positive is that the controller is "simple" in that the switch is mecanical meaning that you can leave it switched 'ON' but connected to a timeswitch - unlike the newer "smart" controls that will start on the highest setting if used in this way. It also has an illuminated display meaning that you always know when the blanket is heating (unlike a more expensive blanket with a "smart" controller that turned the display off after less than 10 seconds - meaning that a simple look wouldn't inform you is the blanket was switched on or off). A Concern. I've used electric blankets from various manufacturers for the past 62 years - since I was 6. My concern centres around the fact that several people have reported that their blankets have overheated and scorched or burnt the mattress - thankfully none have been serious enough to start a fire. Hopefully, I will not experience this issue with this blanket. As an aside, if the mattress overheats and scorches or burns the mattress - who is liable? I would think that the manufacturer should bear some responsibility although some reviews state that the manufacturer doesn't want to know.

Wat een tegenvaller is dat er Engelse stekkers aan zitten. Daar heb je in Nederland niets aan. Heb dus twee verloop stekkers moeten bestellen en dat maak inclusief verzend kosten mijn deken 15 euro duurder. Wat ik amazone het meest kwalijk neem is dat ditbniet op de website vermeld wordt bij de product omschrijving.

Really good value

Best thing I ever bought, it is so cosy and I've been sleeping much better the last couple of nights. I like that you can control the right and left side separately too and the sheet is extremely deep so no worry if it coming off if you move a lot in your sleep.
