Great hedgehog house
I bought this after seeing a hedgehog in our garden. We have been feeding him for about 2 weeks and he comes every night. I read somewhere that you should leave a hedgehogs home empty and let them drag their own materials in. So originally I left everything he would need outside the home, but nothing happened. I have now put a nice thick layer of bedding in there and covered it with dry leaves. It looks really cosy. Then I covered the house with twigs and leaves. I have put the entrance towards the wall so it is protected from the Wind. I didn't want to use straw bedding cause I was worried about sharp bits poking little eyes, the amount of dust in the straw and torniquet hazard. All I need now is for hoggy to try it out. We will have to wait and see. The house is very strong. I lent on it by mistake when rummaging for leaves. It took my weight. It is very well made. It did have a few bits of green wire hanging loose, but they just cut off with scissors. It is nice and roomy. Ideal for a mum and babies. Update: 10.04.19: I have now discovered we have 3 hoggies. I had to turn the entrance round, they couldn't find it. I have just seen 1 of them use it tonight for the first time. I stood back a bit and listened to him in there making himself comfy. I'm thrilled 😊

Best igloo hog house I have ever used! (For a few years now.)
It's very well made and SAFE! I've bought other hog houses before (at a similar price) - which looked great but had shoddy finish inside (sharp wires and bits sticking out, which I had to remedy...) Totally recommend this igloo. I have currently 3 of those in my garden, and just ordered 2 more!) It has no base - but I have used it for a 2-3 years now and it's still in top condition. I tend to place it on a double sheet or garden weed control fabric/matting and it does the trick. Fill it with straw and hogs overwinter in there happily! Good size, too. Place hog houses ideally in secluded, quiet places, shielded from the wind, out of direct sunlight but not north-facing. Hope this will help you!

Nice House...
I like this house. I currently have 3 Hedgehogs visiting the garden. It took them a while to venture inside but now... with the added incentive of a bowl of dog food located at the back, they beetle in and out no worries. It remains to be seen if one (or more) will 'over winter' in there. It seems pretty sturdy, next door's cat has shown great interest (probably because of the dog food) but has not, even tried to, tip it over yet. Waterproof, no jagged edges (as some have reported). Really pleased.

Perfect for hedgehogs
I already have a hedgehog house but I brought this to house the hedgehog food, the first night I put this out the hedgehog went straight in and every night since. This is perfect and blends in really well in the garden and looks great. I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend buying this. It’s big so there is plenty of room to house a hedgehog, and great value. I love it.

Great size very natural
I wanted somewhere for a hedgehog that visits us to feel safe under the magnolia bush. My dog has realised it is around and is pestering it although he can’t pick it up. It’s not good have nowhere to hide. I have just squeezed this into the undergrowth and it looks so natural. It’s a lot bigger than I imagined so really happy with it.

Feed station
We have been feeding hedgehogs in the garden since 1st April this year until recently, where local seagulls were landing in the dark and eating all the hedgehog food! Bought the igloo to house the food and water bowls in the first night and ever since the igloo has been the hedgehog cafeteria - in and out all night sometimes two hogs in there at once and the poor seagulls are missing out! What a shame! Great product and solved the hedgehog feeding conundrum!

A charming shape
A pretty item that looks lovely in a hidden part of the garden. Seems sturdy and well made. Quite sizeable. Too early to tell what the hedgehogs think.
