Is it suitable for long hairs without getting tangled round brush roller?

We have. 2 long haired cats and the DC40 roller doesn't get tangled with their hair. However my wife and daughter both have long hair and I have t untangle their hair from the roller every few weeks. That said, I had a DC04 before replacing it with the DC40 and that was much more difficult to clear the human hair tangle. The DC40 feels a little more delicate than the DC04 but is easier to operAte,empty and clean. I'm please with my purchase.

Yes it very light to use on wood laminate though suction keeps head tight to floor and awkward to turn without lifting. Also as suction is strong very difficult to use on a deep pile carpet & light rugs although you would get a good workout . Great on short pile carpets and heavy rugs .

BRAND NEW dyson dc 40 animal keeps tripping the MCB the old dc 14 works no problem and we tried the dyson on next doors sockets and it did the same

I've a very sensitive MCB and there's nothing wrong with my DC40. You've an electrically faulty unit, get it replaced for one that doesn't trip the MCB.

Does the unit require a 110V or a 220V power input?

Dyson requires 240v power supply.
