Very good a fliltering out dust and airborne particles. Noise level is approximately the same as a white noise machine. Gives me some relief from my allergies and absorbs odors. No need for instructions, it a straight forward installation process. I use the subscribe and save for replacement, keeps me on track.

I have these on subscription. We have the air purifier and the subscription keeps me keeping it clear. We have a cat and the purifier sits next to the litter box. I never smell the cat litter. I recommend these HEPA filters.

Fits perfectly, as expected. They last pretty long too, usually I'll get to the six month lifespan and the inside still looks relatively clean so I wonder if I even need to replace it (sometimes I do let it go up to eight months without any issues, even with it running almost 24/7). I was always a bit hesitant to replace them since these can get a bit expensive, but last time I bought new filters I went with an off-brand since they had two packs for only $16, but they didn't fit properly and after about four or five months the inside was dark grey and looked way worse than these ever have (not sure if it's the filter quality, or due to the improper fit, maybe both). With these (the official filters) I've never had that problem, and you can usually smell the difference in the air. I'd replace your UV light too, those last way longer than the filters but if yours is burnt out then it's definitely worth buying a new one.

I've been buying these for a few years now and they just changed how the black filter is made. I'm not a fan of the new material at face value. It looks like a way cheaper quality material and one that I've never seen before in any HEPA filter. I'm now happy about the change so far. I'm still undecided if the change has degraded the quality of the filter in general. It also makes me question whether the white filter design was also cheapened. I was pretty happy with the Gem Guardian until now. UPDATE: I've had this new filter in for about a week now and I was shocked how much dust was already on the black filter already. I'm thinking this new style filter actually filters out more than the old one does so I'm increasing my rating to 4 stars now. I also washed the black part and it didn't fall apart as expected and was surprisingly easier to clean than the older one. The old design would have dust getting stuck inside the holes of the filter and I'd have to wash it for a while before i could get everythign out of it. The new one seemed to clean up much easier because the holes in the filter aren't as big. It cleaned up well and didn't degrade like I expected. Overall I'm actually liking the new design better now.

Genuine germ guardian air filters shipped fast in original packaging. Works phenomenally for us cooped up inside during cold dark winters with forced air heating. Couldn’t imagine life with out our germ guardian air purifiers!

This is a HEPA-rated air filter for a unit I use in my bedroom at night to help me sleep. After about 6 months use I needed to replace my worn filter for a new one. This one fit the bill. I suppose it cleans and filters the air, the filter sure looks like it's battle-worn. So pop in the new one and I suppose it's doing its job and cleaning the air I breath. Don't know if it works against Covid or not but taking no chances. My inside air is going to be fresh and clean with two different air filters running, both HEPA, as well as my home a/c unit with HEPA filter.

I have been using these filters for about a year now. They are designed for a smaller air purifier and are suitable for small rooms. The life of the filters can be extended by using a vacuum attachment directly on the filter. I also clean out the interior of the purifier each time I actually replace the filter. The filters are simple to use. They just pop right in.

The Germ Guardian purifier has been a perfect bedroom addition. The filters are of great quality and make the unit easy to clean between transfers. Each filter is good for about 3-6 months and is simple to switch in and out. With the infrequency of changing, I tend to always go with these filters to ensure quality and safety of the air. It's been a lifesaver in the basement.

I buy these every 6 months for my purifier, they are excellent! Worth the money! Would recommend.
