Iso-Cool Memory Foam Pillow, Gusseted Side Sleeper ,Standard

This is my 4th time buying this pillow over the course of the past 4 years. And yes, the thickness and firmness of the pillow has changed by quite a bit. Even still, it’s a very comfortable pillow.My guess, this pillow became so popular on Amazon that in order to keep up with demand they started mass producing and using less foam. My first pillow weighed about 5lbs and was HEAVY. But it was so firm and perfect I couldn’t complain. I made the mistake of not buying two at the same time, since I wanted to try it first before making the investment in two. 6 months later ordered my second one and it was definitely not as heavy or firm. I never slept on it and left it for my partner to use when he crashed my pad. No complaints ever there and he and subsequently several guest that have stayed over have all bought and invested in this pillow too.Eventually, though, the first pillow I bought became too well-loved. FYI this is not a pillow you can clean easily....I tried. Rinsed it with tepid water and after 2 weeks it still wasn’t dry. However, I live in a city with no patio or balcony that has access to sunshine so my guess is that without the ability to dry outdoors and with some real but natural heat it was going to fail to clean right. I was forced to throw it out and buy another one, which brings us to here and now.The 3rd one to arrive was even lighter and less dense foam, but even still it’s a great nights sleep. I wish dearly they would go back to the original model, density, weight (why it’s not 4 stars) but in the end you can’t beat that it’s comfy and not insanely expensive.Why it’s comfy: the right height, not so firm that your head doesn’t sink and you’re forced with a crooked neck at night. The middle is definitely softer than the firmer, gussets sides, so if I feel like sleep on my back I can still pull that off and sink to just the right next support and then roll over to side and edge and get framed support that keeps my neck in alignment with back.As someone who blew out her back for 6 months due to poor sleeping setup and work desk setup, these pillows have saved me.

I have the original ISO pillow that I love. I wanted a second one at my in-laws house for when we visit. I read the reviews regarding the change in the pillows foam but decided to roll the dice. The pillow is NOTHING like the original. It is not as heavy, not as dense and collapses under weight of head.

This is the fourth iso-cool pillow I have bought and this time the pillow was more expensive and the quality is not as good as the others. Gave this one to our son and he does not like it because the firmness is different from his old one.

i first used one of these when I visited my sister out of state. she had this pillow on the guest bed.that pillow was about 1 year old. i thought it was amazing so I ordered one for myself. Maybe it gets better after time, but the one I received was way too hard and I couldn't sleep on it. It hurt my neck. I ended up returning this and getting a different brand (Coop Home Goods Adjustable pillow) which is fabulous.

There is nothing cool in the pillow. Bought this 10 years ago. It has lost its cool. So I got a new one. Arrived in a Bed Bath & Beyond. I had high hope that this was the same pillow as my 10 year old pillow. I was wrong! It doesn't cool my head and something has changed; it's flimsy, head sinks down into the pillow and then it's quite uncomfortable, and a problem turning to my side.

I had a pair of pillows by the same name in 2012. Compared to other pillows, they were cooler, and they were comfortable because they were firm. The new ones are very soft and pillowy, but not what I was hoping for.

I have severe headaches and neck issues and my husband bought this pillow for me several years ago. This Christmas he replaced it with the same pillow, but the quality is not even close to the pillow I have been using these past few years. This new version is not firm and it does not support my neck or side sleeping.

Wasn’t as firm as my prior one.
