Seems good
Seems good for the price and I presume reasonably accurate - measured 180 ppm in my tap water, which is about what I expected for semi hard water and 15 for my new RO filter water. Useful to check if my RO filter is remaining effective (or not) over time. This ez version seems intended for retail customers and has a useful sticker on it indicating what different TDS levels mean.

Bought as a gift
Bought for someone else but Im told its great and does what he wanted it for.

This tests Total Disolved Solids, not organic matter ie. Minerals not sewage!
Not really what I wanted. It does measure TDS but not organic matter, such as sewage!

Doesn't work, turn on and no instructions of how to use
Item came in transparent plastic bag. No instructions of how to use. Doesn't turn on. Took the battery out, they were green colour. I received used product, that is my conclusion since the batteries are old and green of mould. Got new batteries, still doesn't work. Blinks 3 lines all the times, doesn't matter is it in water or on dry, 3 dashes just keeps blinking. Waste of time and money for faulty and used product and new batteries. Will be returning and recommend everyone to stay away from this product despite positive reviews.

Buen y preciso testaje del agua.
Es algo caro pero funciona perfectamente. Lo compré para testar el agua del grifo y el agua que sale de la osmosis inversa. También sirve para medir cualquier tipo de aguas , piscina , acuarios etc...

Good TDS meter.
This one is bought by a lot of people. It works well, is fast and reproducible. I assume it is accurate, but have no means of calibrating it. Managed to test my different water sources at home - tap, Brita, RO, fridge filter. Confrmed that the raw tap water is pretty good, and that further filtering makes only a minor difference. Allows me to save on replacing filters more often. My minor complaint is that the LCD type readout has poor contrast, but I can bring it into more direct lighting to read.
