Works well in our system. Our well casing is almost 40 years old so we need to change them monthly but that speaks more to the quality of our water than the filter.

Reasonable price and does it's job.

We’d been using the string wound type of filters, and even at the 1 micron level, still had sediment in the water. We switched to these, and the change was remarkable. I really like them. If they hold up decently, they’re a winner.

Product is good and use only these. Good deal for the 6 pack.

It looks like a good filter but doesn't fit my canister filter. The filter's length is longer than the internal high of the canister filter. After installation, the pleats are twisted.

Fits perfectly

These 1 micron filters by Aquaboon are of good quality and work well. The ones I use are pleated and do a great job as a pre-filter, wholesome filter or a final filter. At one micron it removes most of the scale from the water and the water is softer after going through this filter. It can even filter out cyst and protazoa from well water with good efficiency. You have to match the filter size to the size of your house though. 10"x 2.5" is good for 5gpm or a small house. 10" x 4.5" is good for 10gpm or a medium size house and 20" x 4.5" is good for 20gpm or a larger size house. I micron is very small so catches almost everything from the water. If you have good quality water to begin with it will last longer up to 12 months.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Had trouble finding these corrugated paper filters in 1 micron. They are great for the off grid use when pumping out of the creek sometimes, they can be rinsed out and reused. The 5 micron let a little bit of sediment through so these should be good. Other solid filters clog and hard to clean for reuse. Not for injesting bur just cleaning etc.
