Heats well and evenly, is very comfy to lie on (zero wires can be felt under the sheet) and does the job perfectly but I'd rather it was a bit longer. You have to curl your legs up to warm your feet but other than that it's a good, low wattage blanket that will last at least 7 hours on heat setting 2, running off a decent camping battery. Which is toasty warm with a good duvet over the top. A full leisure battery would last longer but we're using it with just a portable, solar charged camping power pack. If you're just concerned about the running costs, this is one of the cheaper ones. Shouldn't cost much more than 10p to run all night. If you already have a heated throw then between the two you'll be affordably snuggly no matter how cold it gets this year.

Okay, the pros: it's soft enough that you won't feel the wires (which is an issue with some electric under blankets). The settings are simple. 3 will give you a nice glow, 2 is a comfortable warmth, 1 is strictly to maintain a gentle hum of heat once it's been warmed up by 2 or 3. The giant straps are easy enough to fit on the bed and it's stayed in place while I've been using it.Okay, the things to be area of:SIZE: it won't cover the entire mattress. I've found the best way is to position it so the bottom edge is going to be under your feet to keep them warm. Your shoulders will have to fend for themselves.COVERAGE/SOCKET: The blanket doesn't warm to its edges. If there are 2 in the bed, then you're going to get cold edges left, so sign a truce and learn to share no man's land. One of you is also going to have to contend with the socket-attachment being on their side of the bed. In both cases, it's not a MAJOR issue, but if every inch of the bed is valuable, you might need to think again. Make sure you do your measurements before ordering.TIME: It takes a good 30 minutes (at least) to reach the desired temperature/feel. Part of this is logical, because it's not going to instantly zap the bed to the temperature you want, but it IS a tad slow. Not an issue if you're organised enough to switch it on with sufficient time before retiring, but more of an issue if you're looking for a quicker warm-up on a cold evening.

Used now for two weeks and it’s just lovely to get in a warm bed I’ve put in on a smart plug so it’s on a timer when to come on & when to switch off. It’s working a treat. Not overly big for a single mattress but definitely does the job. It warms all where my body sleeps. Would I recommend? Yes I would I’ve got a lot of silent night products and all seem good quality.

My life has literally been made so much better for this comfy and snug electric blanket. It’s lovely and thick so I don’t feel the components inside, which is what I wanted. No 1 setting is warm enough for me, but on really cold nights No 3 is so toasty, I feel like a burrito in bed.

BRILLIANT,PROPER ENGLISH SERVICE.we had a problem with the switch not turning on, so I contacted Amazon and even though the blanket was 8 months old, the brilliant customer service team sorted my free return, PLUS !!!Aa new one was despatched and came the next day.BI did the return easy with a free q-r code and free drop off at the post office.I now have a NEW cosy blanket again 100 stars!,,,

I am very disappointed with this product. After only 33 days of normal use, it has completely stopped working and no longer heats up at all. I specifically purchased this blanket to help with my back pain, so this issue has been very frustrating and inconvenient.Given that the product has failed so quickly, I believe this is a quality issue. I would appreciate a replacement or a full refund as soon as possible.

Nice and soft, adds to my topper etc, but so slow to heat up, 30mins just to take the edge off so make sure you turn it on early

I purchased this item on October 2025 & on Christmas Day it stopped working. Can’t get any help or response from Amazon on this problem.
