Bee Hotel & Flower Seeds for Bees by Plant Theatre - Excellent Gift Idea

This is a great product, i really love it.After reading some reviews i was a bit sceptical to buy as some said the quality isn't that great, however, i have been pleasantly surprised by this product. OK it is a bit rough round the edges, but it adds to the character, it wouldn't look right in the garden if it wasn't at least a little bit rustic.Its great that it comes with the pack of seeds too! i love to do anything in the garden to help the bees, they are such an important creature in this world.I have had this product a while now. I thought i would leave it a bit before reviewing as i wanted it to get established and wait for the seeds to grow.So, the seeds are great! such a wide range of bee friendly flowers have grown, the bees love them...And for the bee hotel?! i have 5..yes 5 bees that have laid eggs so far! :) i am so so happy!One piece of advice though...be patient! :) Different sole try bees drive at different times of the year, it could be as late as october you get some resident bees lay eggs in the tubes of the hotel.I would highly recommend this, it is such good value for money, and built to a high standard. the seeds are easy to sow and germinate easily.Enjoy helping the bees! :D

Just bought two Bee hotels as Christmas gifts for family members. Delivery by the merchant was surprisingly fast (and free to boot!) The quality of the Hotels are top notch and the copper trim on the apex looks great. I have been reading about Mason Bees on Wikipedia, they are a non aggressive bee and pose no threat to pets or children in your garden so would be great in family gardens and interesting for your children to observe (as well as great for your plants flowers etc). Of course the seeds are a bonus too! Unfortunately I live in a flat and don't have a garden, otherwise I would be purchasing a third one for myself.Definately a recommended purchase.

Good construction build (with a well made metal roof to keep it dry and warm), easy to mount and I had mason bees moved in and laying eggs inside within weeks. Fascinating to sit and watch them diving in and out and if you look closely you can sometimes see them resting inside for a few hours! Wildflower seeds scattered in some cleared soil and plenty of seedlings have appeared. Very pleased!

This is a well made item and the zinc roof and generous overhang should keep the bees dry. Hope they like it come summer..The reason the overall rating is only 4 stars concerns the packaging and dispatch by Amazon. It arrived in only the original packaging with the picture and name of the bee hotel easily seen. It was a birthday present for my husband and he took it in from the courier, so surprise element was lost. The box was covered with Amazon labels which would not come off.But the product itself is lovely.

Be careful to put this in a good place, first year I had it wrong but second year it was well used.

Purchased this as a Father's Day gift which was happily received. Can confirm the quality and finish of the bee house is very good. Understand why some of the canes are loose, this makes it easier to replace them if needed, but I can't see that being necessary for quite some time yet. No need to re-glue them back in, they stay in place anyway when the house is upright. Lovely pack of bee friendly flower seeds which can be shown direct into the ground. Looks good in the garden too!

The item itself is sturdy and well-built. Like the review with the photos, mine was also scuffed a little (but I doubt the bees will notice).The irritating thing was that it was a gift and the box was scuffed (it wasn’t protected in any way, it had stickers all over (4 in all and I can only get 1 off without tearing the picture off) plus there were any of the flower seeds inside…Still value for money, but a Christmas gift, given with an apology for the state its in, just isn’t the same.

Great looking product. Ideal for alternative gifting idea!! Hopefully my neighbour whom it was bought for, will get some new pets so to speak. He has a houseful already.The box was colourful and looked good. Would have looked even better if it hadn't have been covered in Amazon stickers which pulled all pictures off when taken off box. Not great when gifting. Better for environment without the packaging l know but made product look shoddy when stickers were removed.

Mto bella sembra fatta bene compreso il copri tetto in alluminio. Vedremo se funziona. In relat mi aspettavo la bustina di si dei fiori così come scritto sulla scatola ma la bustina dei ai non c'è.

L'hotel est mignon et facile à installer. Par contre le produit est arrivé dans la boite sans protection supplémentaire et pas de sachet de fleurs. Dommage ça gâche un peu le plaisir.Je ne suis pas sans ressources puisque j'ai déjà des mélanges biodiversité. Par contre si le sachet n'est plus inclus il faudrait au moins modifier le descriptif.Je complète mon commentaire. Cette année l’hôtel est très apprécié et déjà 4 trous obturés. Donc des bébés abeille en prévision 👍🏻

Fatta molto bene, robusta e subito presa in considerazione dai bombi impollinatori solo che...parlavano di semi ma non c'era nulla di simile nella confezione

jolie maisonnette.A servi de lieu d'accueil à plusieurs abeilles l'an dernier. Mais aucune ne s'est installée cette année...

Ich war wirklich enttäuscht, als ich das Bienenhotel ausgepackt habe. Das Holz war sehr unansehlich und das ganze Haus schlecht verarbeitet. Ich habe es zurück geschickt und mir selbst eins gebaut :-)
