Great game for all the family
Classic Sorry. I used to play Sorry with my sister, mum and dad when I was just a kid. We all loved it. I am 74 now and, browsing Amazons games section, came across across the game again quite by chance. Bought a new copy so I could try it out using my granddaughter and her parents as opponents. I was curious to find out if Sorry was as good as I remembered it to be. It was and now it is my granddaughter who giggles with delight when she draws the dreaded Sorry card and can send some unfortunate (usually her granddad) back to the start position. Great game. Timeless.

Great game
Just as I remembered it. Easy to get the hang of the rules. Lots of fun. More frustrating than Frustration!

Wonderful Game for all ages
We have the game of Sorry that we have had in the family since about 1960 and it shows the signs of much use. It is a brilliant game for playing with all ages and we have had much enjoyment playing with our Granddaughters. Wwe bought a game of Sorry for our two daughters and their families. During the prolonged 'Lockdowns' we started playing Sorry with our two families by zoom. However as the original Sorry has the colours in a slightly different sequence from this version of Classic Sorry so we decided to get a matching board to them. Much fun playing together in different locations.

Almost Identical to the 1930's version
Almost, but not exactly the same. The original game had wooden counters, which were much more appealing that ugly plastic ones. I still have the original, but it is really worn out now. It has been played by my Mum and her brother in the 1930's, my sister and I in the 1950's, our own children in the 1970's and now our grandchildren are obsessed with this game too. It is simple, but huge fun. It really is the best game EVER.

A fun game
My family love this game. I have a very old version that had belonged to my parents for decades, but I was concerned the board was going to eventually break in half, so I bought this as a replacement. The playing pieces are great, they do not easily knock over. The board seems fine and unlike my old one it folds into a square so less space taken up. Not sure how many decades it will last, time will tell. Did seem strange initially that the cards had instructions on them, as old version does not. However we all agreed that it was actually quite a good idea. The downside though and why I havenāt given it 5 stars is the cards have a very fine laminate type coating and it is already beginning to peel back on some of the cards after only a few weeks. Will probably end up having to use the old ones, as thereās nothing wrong with them even though theyāre decades old. Whatās the old saying? āThey donāt make things like they used toā Too true unfortunately.

Classic Sorry Board Game
This is a game I played as a child (I still have my grandmothers original board, cards and counters) and introduced my grandson to it. He loved it so much I was very pleased to find that it is still available and this board design was the closest to the original so I ordered one for him to keep. Much more interesting than other board games as it is not all down to chance but introduces children to strategy. With two players each game lasted us about 15 minutes (up to four can play) so good for younger ones with shorter attention spans - and adults too ;0) I love it!

Sorry the real game
I played Sorry as a child and loved it, I was bought the new version - it is so dumbed down. I can understand that if young children are playing it can get confusing and they get bored easily. What I would say the original game is far better and more of a challenge so if possible get this one - this is the one with cards that say you swap with another player, move someone else's piece and it is harder to start. It is disappointing that the manufacturers havent made 2 versions of the game ie Junior Sorry and Sorry. Love the game and it was immaculate

Consigliato +++++

My sister and i were born in 1945 and 1949 respectively - and as soon as I was able, my mother introduced me to the game of Sorry. The game was the same board, counters and cards as my Mum had played as a child. Our family is still using this original board, cards and counters, but at almost 100 years of age, they are really showing a lot of wear. The original game has never been replaced, despite newer versions appearing from time to time. We all love our older version - just the sight of the playing cards brings back so many happy memories to four generations of our family. With this 'original' version the cards look exactly the same, and even the board has only been altered slightly. Shame about the counters being plastic. Our original ones are turned wood - so if only the counters were the same (and much better for the environment), this 'original version' would be 90% perfection. Many more hours of happy fun for all the family will ensue I am sure.
