Crank Brothers Multi-17 Tool Bike Tools & Maintainance

Bought this kit as I had a pedal come off my bike twice in a ride and I'd forgotten to take my normal tools because they were full size and heavy ... so I purchased this mini 17 piece tool kit. After a bit of research and review reading (don't we all get persuaded one way or another), this seemed to cover all my tool needs at the right price (I paid 17 quid). I'm amazed at the quality and feel of the tools. The Allen or hex keys cover all my bike needs, and aren't crazy long. The black rubber outer sleeve just slides over to protect and keep the tools in check. Lovely packaging, even better tools. I've added some pics with a measure so you know how large or small they are in real life. Perfect for carrying on all rides. Really impressed with the feel and the quality.

It's a nice thing with all the important stuff on it. Not super small, so not one for the weight weenies, but good size considering how much stuff is on it.

Has all the tools you could need to get you out of a stuck situation whilst out on the bike. Very strong construction and good materials used Will be using this for years to come

Well built and looks robust enough for all those road side emergency adjustments. Packs down small for the saddle bag, but feels comfortable in the hand.

Has everything you need except a knife blade

Great quality tool to keep in your bag for any biking mild emergency. I hope I never need the chain tool. The capability of this device seem capable to handle most situation's.

You would think bike tools are all fairly similar but this compares well in terms of the feel of build quality. Better than that, one day after it arriving it came into its own when, in the middle of nowhere one of our groups crank fell off. This requires an 8mm - the other tools present only had 6mm. Raises the point, maintenence/pre ride check would also require an 8mm It has a chain tool as well which really is one that you hope you don't need out in the wilds but if you did think worth a little extra. Weight feels appropriate and that probably reflects the sturdiness. Tools are packed in tight. I'd buy again and indeed the crank victim already has.

I like this tool as it has up to date fitments such as T25 torx as well as allen keys and a chain breaker. I haven't used much else. It comes with a rubberised band to keep the tools from dislodging which isn't on the pictures. Its relatively heavy in weight but the tools feel well made and I don't feel they are going to rust like lower quality ones.

Fantastisk liten produkt som gör precis allt den säger att den skall. Har den alltid med uti ryggsäcken när jag cyklar, har tom lagat en kedja som gick av mitt ute i skogen. Klart bra köp till en överkommlig summa. rekomenderar den varmt

Nice and sturdy

Para quem precisa de uma ferramenta de qualidade, essa é uma boa escolha.

É un multitool compatto e relativamente leggero se rapportato ai materiali, che ti da quel minimo di sicurezza per interventi al volo. Io principalmente l'ho scelto perchè dotato anche di smagliacatena, visto che una volta mi è successo di romperla, quindi è meglio averlo. La costruzione generale è buona. L'acciaio utilizzato sembra di discreta qualità e non dovrebbe essere soggetto alla ruggine. Particolarmente curato l'attrezzo che comprende smagliacatena, chiavi fisse 8-10 e tiraraggi che è realizzato in lega, anche se con le 2 chiavi non credo si riescano a svitare bulloni molto duri, mi dà l'idea che si possa spezzare se si esercita una forza eccessiva. Il fermo in gomma è di buon spessore e della giusta misura, tiene tutti gli attrezzi fermi. Ho testato un po' le brugole e i cacciaviti che riescono a svitare-avvitare tranquillamente le viti, gli altri attrezzi non ho potuto testarli, ma come già ho detto sembrano buoni. C'è anche la versione 19 che, a parte il costo maggiore, mi sembra anche eccessivo e alla fine offre un cacciavite a croce e una torx in più. Io l'ho preso a circa 20 euro e il prezzo mi sembra abbastanza a fuoco con la qualità offerta, costava di più avrei cercato altro. Mi ritengo soddisfatto dell'acquisto e mi sento di consigliarlo.
