Great product.
For very little money, this mains conditioner block offers great value, considering it provides surge protection for your hifi. No hum, buzz or any kind of interference that I can detect from the speakers on quiet or silent passages of music. It's well shielded and contrary to a review I've read,I've found the soundstage very good indeed within my system.

REVIEW: CS947 Tacima 6 Way Mains Conditioner with Surge Protection
Guys, I bought this, at the marked price, with some trepidation at first.Being a long-entrenched hi-fi / audio fundi, I'm well versed in the advantages of cleaning up the mains input into one's audio equipment, especially via (very costly!) add-on's from the likes of audio luminaries such as Russ Andrews, etc. Simply said, done well, this method of "mains conditioning" has truly dramatic effects in enhancing one's audio sound. This is well proven around the world. So, when I can across this relatively cheap Tacima 6-way mains conditioner, I was immediately interested -- especially at the price asked for -- to use with my secondary audio system which comprised computer storage of music files, tied to CD-burning facilities, acting as a source ( via 3,5mm to RCA cabling) to drive my secondary hi-fi.Long story short, I purchased this Tacima mains conditioner on a whim and, lo and behold, it really works so well!PLEASE NOTE HOWEVER: Like many (newly-installed) hi-fi/audio components, one needs to allow the new components time to "run in"/"bed in." This will not sit well with some sceptical folk, but, truly, one needs to do this -- in every such situation. In other words, install this Tacima mains conditioner properly (easy, just plug it in!) and, making sure that you separate each and every electrical cable from each other (separation is key!) that plugs into the Tacima, including the cable that feeds the Tacima unit, use it then for AT LEAST two weeks. Maybe even three. After that, you will be totally convinced and will be clearly able to hear the now-transformed sound of your system. It's that simple and dramatic. Very obvious improvement in sound. It even works in computer-audio systems by getting rid of all mains-derived noise. Which, by the by, in Britain, is major ... the electrical system in the UK is utterly shocking ('scuse the pun). So, my full blessing for this item. Buy with confidence!

Peace of mind.
I bought this because in our bedroom we have a DAB radio, the 12 volt power adapter decided to go bang. This caused our 50 inch TV to stop working and destroy the hdmi circuitry in the satellite box. So an expensive event. We also have a intermittent problem with power clicks from the boiler when the hot water is turned on and off, this causes dropouts on the TV and satellite. As this is a mains conditioner I decided to pay out for this instead of another TV or satellite box. Since its been installed we have had zero dropouts, it has a TV, satellite box, DAB radio, amplifier and Blu-ray player plugged in. I'm so impressed with it I've just bought a second one for our equipment in the living room as we recently had the 65 inch TV have a power supply failure, another expensive replacement. I now feel confident while watching TV in the living room as we have the same setup there with, obviously the same power spikes happening, even from the tumble dryer. We have no such problems now thanks to this excellent Mains Conditioner. Recommended.

I was sceptical as to whether this sort of product can really impact on sound quality, prior to buying this Tacima 6 way mains conditioner. After all, electricity gets to our homes travelling hundreds, if not thousands of miles via thick copper , underground, over ground and it would be daft to assume 2mtrs could make any difference.I needed a 'bank of sockets' so getting one was essential to tidy my cables up. Essentially for my Media Centre pc which stores all my music on and my amplifiers though I did need extra sockets for a usb power bank, a table lamp and the television. Some companies make these type of sockets for the audiophile myth and as far as I am concerned they are ridiculously priced , even if I had that sort of money I couldn't be naive enough to lend my logic to that sort of nonsense.A basic decent quaity 'socket extension' would have cost me £20.00 so I made the decision to try one of these.I can't say I noticed a dramatic improvement in sound at all, though I did sense the sound did seem slightly more controlled, tidy, perhaps that could be the old grey matter playing tricks, I don't know.It certainly has tidied the mess of cables up. It's well made, chunky and substantial and does go some way to adding that be of reassurance. I can see why its more expensive that standard banks, it feels much sturdier. I like the visual alert of when its powered on too, the cable is thick. On a final note there's also one more thing for absolute certainty, it hasn't degraded the sound in any way.All in all a resounding recommendation. A sensible practical product at a realistic price.

Great for amateur radio shack :)
Great bit of kit i use this to rid of unwanted mains interfernce which i did get on my amateur radio station equipment some of the newer type radios ie sdr seem to be worse on mains noise ie switching devices on the same ring main.Led light sources etc can and do cause havoc it's a small price to pay for noise free joy.
