Mr Beams Wireless Battery-Operated Outdoor Motion-Sensor-Activated LED Spotlight, Plastic, Brown, 200 lm

The light arrived on time and well packed. It is plastic as described but not flimsy and the consequent lighhtnessx makes mountig simple. I fitted it to a brick wall using small screws provided but my own wall plugs although plugs are provided. Took 5 minutes. The purpose of the light was to illuminate ahe narrow oppen alleyway along the side of the house where the recycling bins are stored. I positioned it on corner of house just through the entry gate and about 7 feet high. On walking through the gate the light worked perfectly every time. It is easily adjustable to meet personal use. The light brightly illuminated along the alleyway about 20 feet in length and a further 10 feet approx. of easily useable light. Approaching the light from other end, I found i had to be quite near to the sensor to be detected, so you may wish to be aware of that when deciding where to site the light. All in all, I was surprisingly really pleased with the product...I mean how ofte do these things rather disappoint regardless of care in choosing. Personally i couldn't be happier with performance at the price. Note though, it is not supplied with batteries. I also can't accurately comment on longer term weather resistance other than it has been fitted for about 4 weeks now, and has experienced rain, winds, snow and minus temperatures without any visible deterioration in cosmetic appearance or performance.

I began by looking around and comparing outdoor lights to place in a dark corner of our garden. It had to have a motion sensor, be bright and easy to install. There are many solar powered garden lights online. I thought this might be the way to go, but then I came across these battery powered lights. The choice of outdoor lights is extensive but I chose this type as being slightly more expensive hoped it would be a quality item. I wasn't disappointed. The lamp arrived quickly and very well packaged with instructions. It was larger than I imagined, but this was fine as it looked quite substantial. I obviously had to purchase batteries but fitting them and mounting the lamp was quick, easy and straightforward. We waited for darkness to fall and were just amazed at how good these lights are. In conclusion these lights are absolutely amazing! I was so impressed I bought another two, to light up the rest of the garden. They're used every night and give off a really bright beam of light. The sensor works well, battery life seems good so far, they've been up for nearly 2 months through the worst of our UK winter weather, which includes torrential rain, freezing temperatures, ice and snow. Altogether a superb product that I can't praise enough. Yes, slightly more expensive than a lot of other outdoor lights but all I can say is they're easily a 5 star product that I would highly recommended.

Good quality light but does not have an on/off switch so you have to take a battery out when you want to transport it (used as a light for the outside of a tent). Works in all weathers - it got drenched during our trip.

Very well built and sturdy light… motion detection doesn’t seem to have a huge throw but could be how I’ve placed mine - but for where I need it it’s absolutely perfect. I had looked for a long time before purchasing this. Having had cheaper versions of similar in the past and having them just stop working after a while as water seeps in or irreplaceable batteries die - I decided that MrBeams was the way to go. Glad I did tbh…. And now I’ll be looking at other products as really want some pathfinders for the drive! All in all - I would recommend. So far so good. Update: 1yr on - still the same batteries as when installed: still works perfectly, still bright, detection is slightly compromised however fully suspect this is just down to the current batteries? Still comes on as we come through the gate and the dog still loves to bound up and turn it on :). Still highly recommend this product.

Bought a couple of these lights for the front of the house to illuminate in front of the front door and the pathway. The lights are very quick and easy to install and have a pretty good range of adjustments. The lights aren't small by any means, I was hoping for something a little more discrete however you can see they tower over a standard sized mug and once the three "D" cell batteries are installed they are quite weighty. The light given is OK and the sensor works well, it is a bit of trial and error getting it to activate from the correct point but they are very easy to adjust. Remember they are only 200 lumens so if you are wanting very bright light look for something else or go for a hardwired security light. UPDATE These were put up on the house at the start of 2019 so nearly five years ago, they are still working as well as they did back then and have only needed the batteries changing on two occasions.

I have a parking area that is located in a poorly lit area. I saw these and wondered if they could provide what looking for. They were quick to assemble, instructions easy to follow. Luckily, put them up early in the day, as had to nip down the road to buy 3 D-cell batteries (can't remember seeing this alert outside the package beforehand). When it got dark went outside to check and light came on with movement. They stayed on for a short while and lit up well. They look sturdy and I liked that you can adjust the bulb area to achieve the required light span. Great buy!!.

I needed a light that didn’t require wiring and was definitely not solar powered, with a north facing garden anything solar for me is pointless. The batteries last a long time so yes larger batteries can be costly but in this they last a very long time and that is with ours being over our back door and facing a garden where the dog needs to go out for a bathroom break and we have a cat that likes to set it off as well, so it is in use a lot. I had purchased a mr beams many years ago for the side of our house for the bins and that is still working after 5+ years and hopefully this one will also, If you need a good quality light and don’t want the fuss if wires this is for you.

ho preso questa luce per installarla sul pianerottolo di casa,purtoppo in passato ho avuto brutti episodi di vandalismo e volevo una luce che si accendesse appena rilevava la presenza di qualcuno, anche se la luce delle scale del condominio erano spente.La luce e comoda da installare,richiede solo di mettere due tasselli nel muro e inserire una pila di tipo D nella luce ed è pronta.Vi consiglio di prestare attenzione a come mettete la pila perché io all'inizio ho avuto problemi proprio perché la pila non faceva bene contatto.Installata a muro la lampada fa una buona luce,certo non illumina tutto il pianerottolo come una lampadina da 100w ma cmq fa una buona luce che permette tranquillamente di vedere chi cè sul pianerottolo e dove state andando.Il sensore scatta già all' inizio della rampa di scale che porta alla luce e la durata e' di un minuto circa.La sto utilizzando da mesi, circa 6 e non ho ancora dovuto sostituire la pila. Nel complesso lo reputo un buon faretto utile a tutti quelli che hanno bisogno di illuminazione ma non hanno la possibilità di usare la corrente elettrica.Robusta nella struttura e non troppo grossa si istalla velocemente a muro e vi dimenticherete di lei finché non dovrete sostituire la pila. *Il mio parere * 👍🏻 la comodità della luce senza avere a disposizione l'elettricità 👍🏻 ben costruita e veloce da installare 👎🏻bisogna prestare un pò di attenzione nell' inserire la pila sennò non fa bene contatto e il furetto funziona a singhiozzo

Es perfecta facil para instalar. Tengo puesto en un balcon grande,donde cuelga la ropa para secar, y no tenia luz, i me va de maravilla.

Très bonne lampe d appoint surtout en extérieur éclairage puissant , les 3 grosses piles lui confèrent une tres bonne autonomie .ca fait 3 mois et ca éclaire comme au debut

Je les utilisent depuis plus de 6 mois, consomment peu (toujours les premières piles) et surtout éclairent bien.

Acheté car dans le descriptif il est indiqué lot de 2 mais non, il n'y en a qu'un. Par contre pour le fonctionnement de la lampe, rien à redire. Le détecteur fonctionne parfaitement et la luminosité est suffisante pour un garage.
