Difficult to start off but fab afterwards.
It was difficult to get it going but once it was it was great. My granddaughter age 8 was thrilled with it and it kept her occupied for hours. Once she’d done enough we cast it off and she made a snail. Great for dexterity, attention and eye to hand work. She’s always got something going ready to make with it. Great value for money. Definitely recommend.

Arrived quick, well packed
It looks pretty basic, no instructions etc. but i knew that from other reviews going in. It's not great value for money tbh but none of them seem to be and i did check and there's no roughness inside the doll, so at least it should work as intended. We'll just have to YouTube how to french knit on xmas day.

Trio down memory lane
I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas, as she loves seeing me knit and this is affecting good way to get to grips with yarn etc as I remember from my own childhood. However the actual item was disappointing, the yarn was cheap and the plastic 'hook' was pretty useless. It was fiddly and difficult for me and my 5 year old to work out how to do it as the instructions were difficult to see. I resorted to YouTube as memory failed me too. The hole through the dolly was too narrow and progress was hard. We gave up in the end.

An extra gift for a child interested in crafts. It was a bit flimsy but didn’t cost much so it was ok.

Rewarding for person making item
For my little niece and after being showed how to do it , she loved carrying on making up whatever she was making.. Rewarding to the person when finished . Great value for money
