Gun Safe with LcD & USB

Great safe. Very easy to set up. The fingerprint and the security code programs very quickly. I had the whole safe setup under 5 minutes. The fingerprint sensor opens up the safe right away. Everything is included with the safe like batteries and keys to access it. The storage capacity is great you can store two g19 size products in the safe. I really like how sturdy it is and how well the mechanism opens. Great value for a well put together product. The fit and finish is solid and all the components work exactly as they should.

A biometric gun safe is supposed to open quickly, silently and reliably. If you need to get to the contents in the middle of the night or in a stressful moment, you shouldn’t be worrying about whether the batteries decided to die at the wrong time. That’s why I really like what Holewor did here. Instead of overthinking the problem, they added one simple feature that makes a huge difference: an external USB power port. They call it an “emergency” power option, but I just leave it plugged in all the time. Now the safe always has power, and I never have to wonder if it’s going to open when I reach for it. It’s such an easy fix, but it completely removes the biggest worry with battery-powered safes. Smart idea, well executed. Code pad is easy to use. The fingerprint reader works reliably. What else would one want from a handgun safe?

This gun safe is very impressive and well designed. The fingerprint access works fast and makes it easy to open in urgent situations. The LCD screen showing temperature and humidity is a great extra feature that helps keep the gun in good condition. The build feels solid and secure, and the USB-C port makes charging simple. Really happy with this safe so far. It feels solid, looks nice on a nightstand, and the fingerprint reader makes it easy to get into without messing with keys or codes when you are in a hurry. The LCD screen is actually more useful than expected, since it shows the temperature, humidity, time, battery level, and whether it is locked, so it is easy to tell at a glance if everything is good or if it is time to throw in another dry pack or change the batteries. The inside light kicks on when you open it, which makes it simple to grab what you need in the dark without waking everyone up. Setup was straightforward: adding fingerprints and a passcode only took a few minutes, and having backup keys plus the emergency USB C power option gives some peace of mind in case the batteries die at a bad time. The size is just right for a couple of handguns and extra mags, and the included cable and mounting holes make it easy to secure to furniture so it is not going anywhere. Overall, it does exactly what the listing promises and fits well for someone who wants quick access for emergencies but also wants things locked up from kids or visitors.

TLDR: Don't take the 4 stars as this unit is bad. It's not the best and far from the worst. This unit, for the money exceeded every expectation. If you are looking for something overbuilt with Defcon 1 break-in strength (like I was originally looking for), then pass on this. I spent hundreds of hours over the past 3 months watching YouTube reviews, reading specs, and trying to find the perfect travel/nightstand pistol safe. Hopefully, you benefit from my overthinking and save yourself a little time. Yes, there are more premium safes with better materials, multiple locking points, or even reinforced anti-theft construction. But after going way overboard (as I always do), I made peace with finding something solid, reliable, and reasonably priced. The HOLEWOR Biometric Gun Safe with LCD display hit the mark for me. It's not the best, and far from the worst — but it checks the boxes I cared about most. ✅ Key Features I Like: Biometric fingerprint scanner (quick, accurate, and reliable) Digital passcode entry (up to 6 digits) Manual override key LCD screen with temperature and humidity display Voice/tone prompts for confirmations Time display Solid build with a qualitative feel and weight Spacious enough for full-size pistols + accessories 🔐 Use Case & Fitment: I bought this for nightstand use to provide quick access to my: Springfield XDM 9mm with Olight Baldr Pro 3 extra mags CR123 battery case (with 2 batteries) It fits everything comfortably with a bit of room to spare — though I chose not to clutter it to keep access clean and fast. Bonus: It also fits my HK VP9 with the same light attached. Yes — both pistols fit at the same time. You could squeeze in some extra mags, but then it starts to clutter and your are putting stuff on top of your pistols which defeats the quick access nature of this safe. If you're looking for quick retrieval, I’d suggest ensuring you have proper spacing and don't clutter this box. Just because there is space doesn't mean you have to fill it. ⚙️ Setup Experience: Setup was fast and intuitive: I skipped the generic AA batteries and used 4x Energizer name-brand AAs Programming took under 2 minutes Inside the lid are 3 small holes: Insert the provided pin tool into the one you want to program: Fingerprint, Passcode, or Time/Voice Fingerprint: Tap the scanner 3 times with the same finger Passcode: Enter up to 6 digits A green light + tone confirms success To set the Time, use the pin to insert and quick press the time button. You will see the Time numbers blink. You can then use the keypad to enter the time. Press the Time again (or maybe it will auto save after a certain time. I wasn't patient enough to wait) and the time is saved. You will see the Colon blinking then its' out of time set mode. I added 4 fingerprints (index fingers and thumbs from both hands). I tested each one at different angles, and the safe opened quickly every time — unless I totally botched finger placement (my own fault, not the scanner). However, as long as my finger was close (didn't have to be perfect) it read my fingerprint and the lid opened very quickly. 🛠️ Minor Notes / Suggestions: The lid has a single locking point — don’t expect Fort Knox. It’s a deterrent and secure enough for general access control. Would be great if HOLEWOR offered a dual-locking mechanism or an upgrade path. The voice prompts are handy but could use a volume toggle. Fingerprint scanner is great — just make sure you register fingers properly and test using multiple angles to confirm reliable access. The LCD readout is actually more useful than I expected — especially seeing the humidity and temperature, which gives peace of mind for storage conditions. 🔐 Final Thoughts: After obsessing over all the options out there, I realized: 1) Truly "break-in-proof" safes are very expensive and 2) Any safe can be broken into with enough time and tools So I shifted my goal to finding a safe that: Provides fast access Has biometric, passcode, and key entry Is well-built and secure enough to deter casual access Fits my firearms and gear without compromise This HOLEWOR safe exceeded my expectations for the price. I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable bedside or travel solution that doesn’t cost a fortune. This safe looks great and feels solid. It automatically opens when unlocked, and it's nice that it has a keypad or fingerprint reader. The screen is also helpful since it states battery life, temperature, and humidity. It comes with a tether to tie it down or screws to bolt it down. Super easy to use and program.

I picked up this biometric gun safe because with kids in the house I wanted something secure that would keep everything locked away but still give quick access for adults if we ever needed it, I had been meaning to replace our old basic lock box for a while because the key was always getting misplaced and the whole thing felt outdated, I wasnt sure how well a fingerprint system would work but this one ended up being really solid When it arrived the metal felt heavy and sturdy right away and the interior padding was nicer than I expected, Setting up the fingerprints only took a minute and the scanner read my thumb almost instantly which honestly surprised me because my phone barely recognizes it half the time, The LCD screen showing temperature and humidity was a nice bonus because I never really knew what conditions the inside of the safe was in before My spouse tried their fingerprint too and it worked right on the first scan which gave both of us some peace of mind, The safe opens quietly and quickly and the motion of the lid feels smooth instead of clunky, The kids noticed it mounted in the room but even after tugging on it a little they couldnt move it or open it which made me feel a whole lot better about finally upgrading The USB C port for backup power was smart because I always worry about batteries dying at the worst moment, I tested the keypad and the manual backup just to be sure everything worked and had no issues there either, The interior has enough space for what we keep stored and the safe hasnt shifted or loosened at all since mounting it Overall the safe feels dependable modern and well thought out and it fits into a small space without drawing attention, It has definitely given us a better sense of security and made things much easier to organize I currently highly recommend this product.
