GQ gmc-320 Plus Geiger Counter Nuclear Radiation Detector Meter Beta Range X Ray Europe

I tried this item on a few products and the results were very good, a shame the front panel makes it look a bit like a toy.

Having watched Chernobyl, having a father who lives near a nuclear power station and generally being really interested in physics, I thought I would try this out. It seems to work well, although it didn't detect any potassium 40 beta decay in my bananas. The background radiation in my London kitchen is certainly higher than up on the 11th floor at work, or down at my father's house on the coast near the power station. It's also higher on the tube, but other commuters act weirdly when you take it out and start waving it around.

Excellent piece of equipment. Not had much time to put it through its paces as of yet, but seems to cover my needs..

Seems to work well, easily detecting a radium dial on a watch. Some sophisticated features for such an entry level price. Feels solid and well made, also comes with protection pouch.

A very basic radiation detector which is good enough to pick up the low level emissions from green glass. Not much else to say , it seems to work as a general area detection unit and should you wish you can log the reading online at their forum.

The battery only lasts for about one day. It is possible to improve this to two or three days by selecting low power mode, where the device goes to sleep after about ten seconds. The manufacturer GQ Electronics appears to be based in Seattle but judging by all the spelling and grammatical errors on their website and documentation, I don't think this is really a US product.

Does what it says on the tin and has a real geiger-muller tube. We'll constructed. Allowed me to realise that a couple of old watches were definitely not for wearing - or even approaching! You never know what radioactive sources are lurking because most people never measure it!

Good product, seems a little clunky to use however picks up the background radiation with ease. Sadly one of those products that unless you use within the nuclear industry or there's an attack (where these reviews will become useless) its difficult to give a review but happy with what I can see, use and detect so far.

Çok güzel. Müthiş hassas. Test için duman sensörü aldım. Güneş vuran duvardaki radyasyon farkını bile ayırt edebiliyor.

Fonctionne très bien. Qualité/ Prix imbattable. Ce compteur Geiger est vraiment de bonne qualité et les mesures semblent fiables. Une calibration peut également être réalisée soit meme.

Il prodotto, pur essedo semplice come costruzione, è efficace. Molto leggero, dotato di una batteria al litio integrata, ricaricabile e sostituibile, La società che lo produce mette a disposizione sul suo sito anche un software per lo scaricamento dati su gpc, e la visualizzazione degli stessi su mappa mondiale. Si carica mediante cavo mini usb - usb fornito nella scatola. Non è presente un adattatore di rete per alimentarlo nella comune presa 220v. Software all'interno in italiano. Poco più grande di una mano, la visualizzazione dei dati è veloce e semplice. Lo consiglio a chi vuole fare misure su alimenti, prodotti importati e misure ambientali. Se devo trovare proprio una cosa da migliorare, direi che la costruzione è un po' spartana, però....fa quello che deve fare.

Das Gerät ist einfach Spitze. Es ist sehr klein, ziemlich genau so groß wie mein Smartphone mit 4,7 Zoll Screen, und ziemlich genau doppelt so dick. Es ist sehr leicht, per USB aufladbar, verbraucht wenig Strom, man kann z.B. die Messung die ganze Nacht ohne externe Stromquelle machen und die Batterien halten locker durch, ich habe die Batterie noch nie ganz leer bekommen. Man kann quasi alles einstellen wie man es möchte, also LCD beleuchtet oder nicht, blinkende LED oder nicht, Ton an oder aus, Alarm aus/an, Messwert für Alarm frei einstellbar, Helligkeit und Display Licht Timer, jede Menge verschiedene Anzeigemöglichkeiten auf dem LCD Display, graphisch oder Text. Dazu kann man das Gerät per USB an den PC anschliessen und loggen mit einer Software. Es ist eine Software mit dabei (Download über Internet) und man kann für 10 Euro eine Pro Version der Software kaufen. Mit der Software kann man kostenlos die eigenen Messwerte auf einer Online Map hochladen und somit eine Dauerüberwachung einrichten. Man kann alle Meßwerte in sämtlichen Dateiformaten auf den PC exportieren. Laut verschiedenen Testberichten scheint das Gerät auch ausreichend genau zu sein. Bin sehr positiv überrascht von dem GQ GMC 320 Plus, dazu ist es einer der günstigsten Geigerzähler die man so finden kann.
