Lunchbox Jokes: 100 Fun Tear-Out Notes for Kids Paperback – January 1, 2013

My grandson loves this book. He shares the jokes at lunch time with his friends.

Overall I love these books. There is some over lap for the food version in this volume. Some of the puns are over the head of my 9 year old.

When our little one started to read, we procured these as a motivational tool during lunches to "read" more. The truth is though, his friends probably had more chuckles then he did initially, as it's more fun to hear jokes then to read them outloud and try to process them; but it did get him to read/pick up a few new words here and there. I read the jokes as I pack them and the jokes are simple and do create some chuckles!They would be too simple for kids older than 8.

Cute for my first grader, but some of the jokes are a bit advance. Definitely too cutesy for my 6th grader. I'd say the age that this would be best for is 2nd through 5th grade. It is nice that there is space on the inside (when you pull out the page, you fold it in half so the question is on the outside and the child opens it for the answer on the inside, like a greeting card) that you can write a note to your child.

These jokes are perfect for the elementary school crowd. They are short, easy to read, have fun pictures, and are appropriately cheesy. My 1st grader son loves to receive and share them with his friends at lunch. Its an easy way to go a little extra mile and give him something special to show him I love him every day. My only wish is that the book contained 180 jokes, same as the number of school days. There are unfortunately less.

I like these notes. Ive bought several different kinds, and I like that you fold them (like a card). Joke on the front, then they open it, and the answer to the joke/riddle is inside. Also gives me a blank side, to write my own little sweet note. The jokes are perfect (my daughter is in 1st grade) and she finds them funny.

We got these for our second grade son. He loves them, but even more, his friends love them. The kids at his table get all excited when they see he's brought his lunch and want to know what the joke is. It's even gotten to where the lunchroom monitor will see his lunch box and bring him the microphone so he can share the joke with the entire lunchroom. Definitely a great idea for the younger kids.

These are such a fun addition to anyone's lunchbox. The pages are big enough you can also write a little note to you child if you like. The quality of the book could be improved, as the cover came detached from the pages after tearing out the second joke page.

Really good idea , pop one in my sons lunchbox every day .

awful jokes, some not even remotely funny.

My granddaughter and her friends love getting the jokes. They enjoy them being on take out pages and save and share them.

Cute book of riddles for the kids. Perfect for 7-9 year olds.

Just ok. Saves time, but the jokes are not original. Not worth the price.
