Yes you can raise it so out of the water or lower so back in and also adjust the height vertically all while attached

Hi, how long could I expect this to run for at speed 4-5 using a 110AH battery on a excursion 5 inflatable dinghy?

you will find a very big difference in running time between 4 and 5. Iwould guess 3 hours on 5 but about double that on 4. Water conditions will make no difference to running time.All that would change would be how far you will travel.
