Faulty.
Item does not function as advertised, as an add-on for headphones. Produces barely audible low sound that only comes in through a single earphone. Defective and not good enough. Shame as this particular cable is surprisingly hard to find anywhere. Given the cheap price and packaging it's a fair gamble when ordering an item like this, but luckily returns are accepted. So that's what I'll be doing. If anyone else is looking for this type of cable, look elsewhere.

Feared the worst when I read the reviews and they turned out to be correct, absolute piece of junk and not fit for purpose, will be sending it back asap!!
