Humbrol 28ml Liquid Poly is a solvent-based, low-viscosity plastic cement designed for model building. It features a built-in brush applicator for precise, mess-free use and creates a strong, permanent bond by melting plastic surfaces together. The adhesive dries to the touch in 10-20 minutes and fully cures within an hour, allowing fast project turnaround. Ideal for plastic model kits, it offers reworkability before curing and is favored by hobbyists for its reliability and ease of use.

Better than a tube or bottle
After being out of the hobby for a few years my glue had dried up or got lost so it was time to get some. I did some research and jumped on the revell bandwagon with the metal needle. This worked great for precision.. until the needle got blocked after around 2 weeks. I cleaned it out and it worked again for about a week before blocking. Then the needle fell out and the block became practically impossible to unblock. I remembered using glue in a glass bottle like nail varnish which never blocked and I never had a problem with. This lead me to this very bottle and I'm pleased to say it works just as well as I remember. I'll put up with a little less precision for not having to constantly unblock a needle and sometimes getting covered in glue in the process!

Good product, issue with shipping
The product is really good, used it on my warhammer plastic models and it holds the parts together quick and the join feels solid (just be careful as it can mess up details). Only problem was the way it is shipped, the bottle has an issue leaking but the supplier sent me another straight away and offered to send a third so I had at least a full bottles supply which was very generous.

Easy to use and a must have for any modeller
Having only ever used tube glue, or the revell thin nozzle glue, was recommended a similar product from a friend who does a lot of modelling. for doing long joints this is brilliant, using a thin brush dab a bit at the top of the joint and allow it to flow down the joint. Not as good for very small joints, but still works. The best feature has to be the fact that if you spill any, it evaporates quickly - great for if you slip or put a bit too much on. This brings the added bonus that if you are attaching 2 painted pieces, this evaporates off the painted section if you run over, and cements the clean section to be stuck.

Sticky situation!
I have been using this product since it came on the market. Liquid poly is so much more versatile that the regular tubed poly glue. Drying vey quickly it can easily be run into hard to reach places in plastic models and if spilt on the model surface in small amounts will quickly evaporate without causing damage. The bottle comes with its own applicator brush set into the screw top which is ok for general work but for more intricate application I would suggest the use of a cocktail stick or an old "rigger" brush. Having been a model maker for over 50 years I am not accident free and the practice of leaving the liquid poly open with the brush resting in the bottle neck is to be avoided........being so thin it will run everywhere if inadvertently knocked over! My latest acquisition of liquid poly arrived as an add on with a expensive item . I was over powered by the fumes of a damaged bottle which fortunately had been wrapped in bubble wrap. A call to a very friendly Amazon representative resolved the matter and a FOC replacement has been processed. In summary I recommend this product to any serious model maker new or old.
