How much heat do they give out?

They are very hot, burn fantastic just in there own, but I put in the flame fast log then add coals around the bottom and 1-2 extra normal hardwood logs and it keeps burning for approx 3 hours and the heat is immense.

Can these be used in a fireplace which doesn't have an open chimney?

Don't burn anything like this in a room without a chimney, properly vented stove or similar. You risk finishing yourself off with carbon monoxide poisoning if you burn anything without proper ventilation.

Is this product ok to use on open fire indoors ?

We’ve been using them for years in a regular fireplace. We also use the catalytic chimney cleaning fire logs to prevent buildup in chimney. As with all open fires, have chimney swept to draw efficiently and safely.

Do you just chuck the pack in the wood burner?

Yes. Do not even open the pack. Light with a long match or a long lighter. Use them one at a time an patiently wait a few minutes for the flames to cover 6 the complete log. Enjoy.
