Pro4 black wired gamepad controller for Playstation 4 / PS4 Slim / PS4 Pro

Works fine after the firmware upgrade from the site .. even though the update file says for pro5 it works on the pro4. Nice cheap alternative pad

At first I thought it wasn't updating because it kept crashing when playing a game.But after updating one more time online it works like a treat! So if anyone does purchase one, and it doesn't update properly the first time, do it again and it does work fine!! :) :)Only minus is the middle button doesn't turn on the ps4, you have to turn the console on manually but that's hardly an effort lol

Didn't work straight out of box buttons would stop working every 5-10 minutes. Did some digging found out you need to update the controller bit of an inconvenience but there you go. Try to go on website in instruction manual it's no longer active found the new website pro5 instead of pro4. Then find out that you need windows so having an Apple laptop is no good. Pretty sure more than half the population have Apple over pc so this needs sorting out. Terrible product doesn't feel like it will last even if it did work. Waste of time and money stay clear.

Disconnects quite often even after updating and causes me to be stood still while playing a game and get killed but apart from that it is a very nice controller

i brought this pad as a spare for my ps4 slim it worked until i updated the firmware on the ps4 then it stopped working however went to the manufacturer's website to update the firmware there was none available for the pad at this present time not good also i agree with others who posted their reviews about the placement of the buttons (select and start) they get in the way when you are using the controller apart from that it works ok with my ps3 slim i ended up buying another controller from another retailer which was better hence the 2 stars i will update if there any changes to updating the firmware also i wouldn't recommend this contoller because of the issues it has with the ps4

Definitely not the controller to beat all controllers... but guess what... it works in my mac :DDDDD definitely a good option if you dont fancy paying loads for a ps4 controller

Works brilliantly, is well worth the money (especially considering how expensive branded controllers are).

I got this as a back up hand held,so as to carry on playing when my cable free was charging.A great controller with a long cable for relaxed game playing as I do,not too near the screenVery well packaged and quick delivery.well worth getting if you don't want to pay for the more expensive cable free controllers as back up
