Ocean Nutrition Instant Baby Brine Shrimp 20g

Absolutely brilliant. My WCMM go mad when they see me approach with the jar. It is much easier than harvesting them yourself and a lot less messy. Might be more expensive but the little jar lasts for ages if kept in the fridge. My one piece of advice is don’t shake the bottle; just give it a good stir with the little ladle provided. If you shake the bottle the shrimp collects around the neck of the jar, stays there drys out and you’ve lost it. Plus, it will make the jar smell and I think spoil the fresh shrimp in the jars liquid. All told, highly recommend.

Worth every penny. It’s surprising how far this small jar goes. My baby fish loved it. It must be really good as I didn’t lose any so now have to build a bigger pond 🙂

great the larger fry, CPD adults, shrimp and Harlequin Rasboras love it but I've had to throw out two lots not because I forgot to put it back in the fridge, so it's not a good option if you easily get distracted. This morning was just a few hours but it was enough to make it stink like rotten seaweed so I've had to throw another away. That's the last one I'll buy.

Never used before till now fish love it

This is an okay product, but I personally wouldn’t buy it again. Some of my fish liked it, but others weren’t too interested.Nothing really beats live brine shrimp, which they absolutely go crazy for compared to this.The small bottle can actually last quite a long time, but the downside is you need to use it fairly quickly once opened. Mine ended up spoiling before I could finish it, so I only got to use about half.Overall, it’s convenient, but not a replacement for live food in my experience.

4 stars because it arrived damaged, with the lid dented, and started leaking. No horrendous odour or anything so I assume the damage was recent. I still think it's fit for purpose as it's fish food.My chili rasboras seemed to like this a lot. It was the perfect size for them and they chased it when I fed them.In terms of value for money, while I would have liked the jar to be bigger (think the little jam jars they give you in supermarket cafés with your toast) I found myself only using a tiny amount per feeding, so I think it will last a fair amount of time. (Plus I only have the one shoal of nano fish, if you have a large shoal or several tanks it might not be enough for you.)Around £6 seemed a little on the step size, but if it has the shelf like that other reviews claim it does, and with me only having a small shoal of chilis it's looks like it'll do for their needs - bearing in mind I'm also feeding them micro flakes and copepods, not exclusively this.It's in the fridge currently, sealed inside some tupperware and hopefully it'll last a few months.I think this will be useful for mixing up the variety of the food I give the chilis. I think it would also be useful for fry and other nano fish.I will maybe buy this again as it does seem good and the fish seem to like it.

Bought this as an alternative food for Moon Jellyfish and it works great! Stays in the water column much better than the dried jellyfish food and there is no need to re-hydrate since its already in a solution. Plus its WAYYY easier than hatching your own baby brine shrimp which I don't think is worth the effort. Highly recommended for jellyfish.

Prodotto comodo per l'allevamento di avannotti di specie che non accettano il cibo secco. Molto più pratico alimentare con questo prodotto piuttosto che gestire per settimane la schiusa delle uova di artemia. Sulla confezione riporta una durata di 6 settimane dopo l'apertura, ma generalmente dopo 4 settimane il prodotto inizia a fare cattivo odore (come è naturale che sia) e io preferisco buttare il pochissimo che mi resta ed usarne uno nuovo. Sicuramente consigliato.
