Solar Fire Lighting Kit Magnifying Glass Compact Fire Starter Bushcraft Survival

Brilliant product got it working just fine after abit of experience trying it out, to those who couldn't get it working I think you probably tried lighting somthing other than the charcloth, I'm in England and it takes between 5 and twenty seconds to get enough heat to Smoulder the charcloth, the n placing it within a birds nest of tinder and blowing into it holding the nest like an insect not to loose that it can escape and not to hard that you'll harm it, remmeber the rope type material needs to be fluffed into a birds nest but it's the charcloth that needs to smoulder before placing into the birds nest tinder brilliant product very happy, made my first sun magnification fire yesterday yay 5 STARS!!!!

Excellent little gadget.

I received the item yesterday on a hot sunny morning. Perfect! I immediately tried the item on paper, dark tissue paper, same rubbed in pet jelly, even a petrol soaked piece of hemp string. No light!The glass is well made and works as a magnifying glass but the pinpoint solar focus is difficult to fix and simply doesn't generate enough heat.I tried my trusted old £1 Rolson 2" glass lens with broken plastic handle (hence the upgrade) and fires were started no problem. You need at least a two inch lens to start fires with any ease in my opinion.

This looks better in person than it does in the images and I'm yet to use but it still adds something to my keyring oh and the packaging and little extras it comes in was a nice extra little surprise
