Litcessory Extension Cable for Philips Hue/WiZ Lightstrip (1m, 2 Pack, White - STANDARD 6-PIN V3 / WiZ Lightstrip)

Great products, really! purchased a 2m hue strip and extension, Using this product and this companies other products I was able to cut the lightstrip down, use splitters to split the power and route extensions over the cabinets in our kitchen, I now have a strip light under the units near the floor and have one additional small light strip (from the extension and the cut off) as under cupboard work lights for my work surfaces. They suggest you do not extend too much but my total length must be about 12 meters. I used two, two way splitters to provide three outputs, then a 3m extension strip, the 2m lightstrip and some additional lengths for the counters.If you want simple under cupboard lighting and do not want the hassle of installing cabling to route to a master switch, and want to be able to switch them on remotely, these are awesome. Not cheap but well worth the money, fantastic quality!

Worked great to link a Hue Lightstrip starter kit to a couple of extensions, with the new cable hidden away under a bookcase. Great quality, easy to install and does the job nicely. Perfect. Our Lego display looks fantastic now!

Overall I liked the product a lot. I've bought the extensions to reach two cabinets that aren't adjacent to the main counter, and the connection was good. The only enhancements I'd like to see are 1) the connections are kind of lose, they should be more firm (and don't disconnect so easily at the slight movement) and 2) the ends could come signalized (e.g. a black/red mark in one of the sides, to indicate the installation side (you can fry up your main LED connecting inverted - I did and fortunately it just shut off for few minutes). Other than that, great product. Thanks.

I think these are pretty pricey for what they are, however the are a necessity if you want to break up your hue strip lighting. I wish they came in a mid range length as I only needed around 2ft, but its not a huge issue. All lights work as they should when installed

Realistically my only reason for giving it 3* is the price.I can't believe that this is the cheapest I could find. The cable itself is of good quality and does what it's supposed to but... OMG $$$$ this should not be more than 2-3 pound for what it is.

These worked for 18 months. I’ve since had an issue with the two hue light strip plus’ linked together.I don’t know if the issue is with the hue product or the litcessory product, but what I do know if that Philips have blamed using a third party product.

Works well - used this to extend our kitchen Hue undercounter lighting around our hob. Pretty easy to install - way easier than trying to solder your own solution using CAT5 cable (I tried!)

This was delivered a day earlier than predicted. The ribbon cable is much finer and of a much better quality than the pictures suggest. Although 3 metres was far too much for what I wanted, its dimensions meant this wasn’t a problem. Packaging was excellent. Overall, I can’t fault the product or the order and delivery. Thanks.

Mittlerweile habe ich jetzt 10 m Stripes und 7 m von diesen Verlängerungen verbaut. Das funzt einwandfrei.Für den Preis kann man sie eben nicht selbst herstellen ;-)Mfg

初期状態では、1.5日程度でWiFiから外れて反応が無くなっていましたが、ファームウェアを更新してからは、安定しています。IFTTTには対応していませんでした。

I was putting off getting a light strip for under my cabinets as I didn’t want it run under the microwave, but then I found Litcessory products. Before purchasing I watched the videos they provide on their website, as well as some customer made videos I found on YouTube. Some of the customer videos it was obvious that either Litcessory did not have installation videos yet, or the customer just did not know about them. I have a very good background in electrical components to include soldering, so this installation may have been a little easier for me than someone without an electrical background, but with the company’s videos, I have no doubt just about anyone could split a Philips Hue Light Strip relatively easily.The pictures I included are from before and after installation, the first is with my overhead light on, the second with only the light strip on.If you purchase this, make sure to watch the videos closely before making any cuts to the light strip. I had no issues with my cuts. The only issue I had was one of the connections on the solder points was not making complete contact so not all of the LED’s were lighting up. Easily fixed this my checking all of the connections.*note: you do not have to have soldering knowledge or ability for what I purchased, though the company does offer some products that do require soldering, so go through the website as they guide you with what you need based on which Philips Hue Light Strip you have.
