400ml Painter's Touch Spray Paint Aerosol - Satin Black

Used to paint 304 stainless steel hinges on wooden garden gate. The paint covers well and is easy to apply. Having used countless tins of spray paint I am very familiar with the likely resultant thin paint layer. A thin coating does not however translate into poor durability. This stuff comes off by simply rubbing with a cloth - hopeless and not typical of rustoleum products so back to zinser for me.

I used this to spray a model boat hull and it is still soft and easily marked 8 weeks later... The Claret colour I also bought hardened after about 2 weeks but this is still to do so and is now unlikely to. Pity, as the finish after spraying was very good, as long as you did not dare touch it. Buy something else.

This paint took a week of my life and 100£ down the drain! I decided to repaint my piano and thought a spray would give it a smoother finish. I couldn’t have been more wrong about choosing spray cans. I must have went through at least 10 to try and get a uniform finish, followed proper spraying technique, primed first etc. despite multiple coats it just came out with a very uneven patchy finish and looked terrible. I had to sand it off and paint the whole thing by hand. Will never be buying spray paint again!

so I bought this from a uk well know diy store, I almost ran out half way through the project and so did the store so i purchased two tins from amazon. The product did not dry the same. I assumed it was a slight change in atmospheric tem so snded and re sprayed the prject again once weather was similar to forst time i used the diy store bought spray. The amazon bought tins have dried completely matte and not satin! The prijcet marks easily and is not suitable for furniture because of this. very disappointed as the tins are identical to the store bought tin. Not sure whats going onhere but these arent right.

Easy to spray on but simply wouldn’t do consistent coverage, even after 6 layers it was still looked awful. Towards end of spray can it would just start spitting out and ruin what you’ve just applied. Bought box full and gave up when had two left as it was just looking a mess.

The paint was left for the 24 hours to hard dry, as the spray said, and all I did was move the small bookshelf from outside where it was drying, to inside, and loads of the paint had chipped and peeled off, in places where it was impossible for anything to catch up, such as inside the actual shelf. Wish I had just bought normal paint. Waste of money and took so long to sort, as it kept on chipping and peeling. Do not buy.

I think this product was faulty after shanking the can for a good 5 mins there was no rattling Sound like most cans make. So I used it anyway thinking there prob isn’t a metal ball inside. Left my mirror with air bubbles in majority of places and others the paint was just sliding off. I bought another one as I ran out and the new fan seems to rattle with the metal ball so I think the first van was faulty.

Within just a few sprays, I quickly realised I was painting more of my hands than anything intended. Some paint where where I wanted but, in a very patchy way. Half the can was wasted through the spray leaking all over. I remember when Amazon used to sell quality gear and eBay sold the cheap rubbish. Not any more.
