Does it come with filter media

Yes it is supplied with filter media ready to set up.

Is this supplied with a uk plug?

No. Mine arrived a couple of weeks ago with European plug and i bought a cheap converter plug.

Does this come with the pipes?

This comes complete with a length of pipe that you cut to fit your setup and all fittings and media for the trays are also included. Hope that helps.

Could you tell me if the inner hose size is 18mm, (I.D) or what size the external connectors are. Thank you in advance.

yes they are the larger 18mm pipe work, although i have started mine with 100mm of 18mm then used reducers to take it down to the smaller gauge stuff which is not a problem as on the filter itself there is a control to reduce the flow rate, i done this so the return water to the tank was not so fast and agresive, hope this helps
