These are very nice wood Plaques. I have ordered these wood plaques a few times now, and every order has been great. These pre-made wood plaques save a lot of fabrication time in my laser engraving business, as I don't have to make the plaques myself, and I can focus on quality laser engraving. Although, pine is not the best wood for laser engraving (basswood, birch and oak are the best woods), once the laser settings are dialed in correctly for pine, the final results are really nice on these wood plaques (see attached photo). These wood plaques are also really nice for painted craft projects and stenciling. They also work well for Cricut vinyl cutout projects. These wood plaques come with sawtooth hangers preattached so that the wood plaque hangs in the vertical (portrait) orientation. I use these plaques for making horizontal (landscape) design signs, so I usually just remove the hangers and reuse them on picture frames (the small sawtooth hangers don't balance these wood plaques very well when moved to the horizontal orientation). I highly recommend these wood plaques to anyone that enjoys crafting, has a "maker" business, or just needs to make a nice sign. The great part is that two wood plaques are included in every order.

I've purchased both the natural and whitewashed, and I feel I should've learned my lesson the first time. Lol! I attempted to use the whitewashed one first with vinyl letters, only to have the vinyl NOT stick. In fact, it stripped the paint! I then tried the natural using the same method/vinyl, and it wouldn't stick without a bit of "help." I then bought and used clear acrylic spray, allowed it to dry completely, and then tried again (on the natural). Guess what? IT WORKED PERFECTLY! Don't be me. Commit yourself to extra work and time to get the best out of this product. Overall, I love it and have purchased more...now that I GOT IT!

Great product

I used these on each side of a tea drinking station I am making. one note, they are wonderful quality, mine were 13.5 x 5.5 inches, not 14x6.

Bought the white washed signs because it shows it can be hung horizontal AND vertical but mine arrived with only the horizontal clasp. I know I can add some hanging clasps myself but that's not what I had in mind to do when purchasing, I was under the impression it would already be available to hang either way.
