Angle? You're asking! It rises three inches, and has helped my back no end as the slope automatically pushes me back into my chair. Well worth the money.

will a 15"6 laptop fit well while using on a table?

Yes it will fit fine as I have a 17" wide-screen laptop and still has a bit of space each side. So you should have an inch a side or so .
