Brilliant piece of kit.
This is a really compact and well designed unit that does what its made too to the highest degree. My son and I were able to install it in an afternoon; the parts being really quite simple to install, well thought out and efficiently designed. The guide that accompanied it was clear and concise, we didn't need to consult the video too much. We also opted for the pumped version and usually don't have good water pressure, but it hasn't been an issue so far as the water comes out and at a good rate. The customer service has been great as well, everyone has been easy to talk too and helpful. Now for the important part: the taste. Its crisp and clear, with no trace of any metallic or chemical after-taste. Its more-ish and I don't know if its subjective but it seems to have a much softer taste when compared to tap water, far too smooth going down. Also no scales left in our kettles or perculators. We use it mostly for tea and coffee, water and cordials, to cook with and wash most of our fruit and veg. No cause for complaint so far, and it definitely is nice to cook with, no more adding any unwanted flavours to subtle dishes. All in all its a great bit of kit, and saves time and effort in the long run that other simpler water filters do not (waiting for the thing to drain). I think its great and we will be putting one in my mothers house soon!

Absolutely brilliant and hassle-free once installed properly
I have had the RO system for about 7 months now and decided to do a review (something I do rarely !!).My first purchase from Water2buy was a water softener which was purchased about 7 years ago. When it recently gave me some issues, Steve, sent me a replacement part. When that didn't solve the issue, Water2buy replaced the whole meter unit for me and everything went back to normal. It was because of this excellent customer service that I decided to buy my RO unit from Water2buy. There customer support is simply outstanding.Regarding the RO unit itself, it's a brilliant hassle-free piece of kit that just sits under my kitchen sink counter and all but forgotten till you open the tap for some lovely tasting water. (I'm in Thames Water area which is really hard and bad tasting water). No maintenance required or issues, only great tasting water. The filters are still going strong. I did add a water polishing post filter to my set up which gives the water a mineral water taste. The initial installation had some hickups. I had read the other reviews, watched the videos and was careful not to tighten the seals too hard. But it still leaked :)What I learnt is that it takes a while for the water to fill and pressurize the system and that's when the seal gets pressed and stops the leak. So, the trick is to be prepared for some water leak at install time (towel under the unit), open the water supply only a tiny bit and then gently tighten the filters just a bit till there is no leak.Steve from Water2buy was a great help and in addition to the expert tips, he also sent over some spare seals that solved the issue.Emails support can be a bit slow but if you give them a call, it either gets answered immediately by their support team or leave a message and they do call back to help.

Excellent product and amazing customer support - healthy living
I spent several hours looking around the web for information about water filters. I was just going to get a filter jug but then found alot of information about the importance of Reverse osmosis, which the filter jugs don't do. Basically I found this information -Reverse osmosis uses pressure to force water through a semi-permeable membrane, removing practically all contaminants. This type of filtering is recommended for people with compromised immune systems, since it tends to eliminate more pathogens than other methods.I have a 2 year old daughter and an 8 year old, so this is why I decided to fit it. (we recently moved to England and during the setup of the new house I decided we needed something like this. ) Untill now we were drinking bottled water, but of course we were using tap water for cooking soups (my wife is Romanian, any they make ALOT of soups!) but also our teas (we are big fruit tea drinkers , rather than fizzy drinks etc) and for all other cooking and boiling.I am really happy with this filter system and so happy I chose this one from water2buy, just becuase everything went so smoothly.the booklet that comes with it wasnt as clear as I would have liked, but the support they offer made up for it 100% (see below)If you go to the water2buy.co.uk webstite and click on chat, then they will answer any questions you have and even ring you back. You can take a look at the installation video before you buy it to see how easy it is to install.https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7gbM2va5pCXoW1D0-zLjlQ?&channel=thewaterstoreI am not much of a D.I.Y. guy so when I had a few questions about it I clicked the online chat to talk to someone. I did not know how long it would take for them to get back to me, but my in-laws and I were amazed at the great customer service when someone asked for a phone number and called us back straight away.We were worried the reservoir would not fit under the sink due to the various pipes below our sink, but once we saw the installation vid we were relieved to see that it can stay in a lying down position, so it should fit in most kitchens easily. You can ask Steven from water2buy if you need one with the pump or not.. If your budget is limited then that one is much cheaper, with all the benefits still there.
