We have used these as pet gates and they are just what we wanted. My husband says they are easy to fit (not my thing!), they are very strong (keeping 4 labs where we want them!) and they look nice. We wanted gates that are screwed in not pressure fit and these are the best we found - and at a reasonable price too. They are easy to clean and tall enough to stop even a large breed hopping over them and the whole gate moves when opened, so no trip hazards. We have now got three in use. Would thoroughly recommend - I am sure they would work well on small people too!!

Product did arrive a day late but with COVID it's to be expected. I'm not sure what the other reviewers are moaning about, this gate is great! Exactly what we needed for our mastiffs who are escape artists. It can be a little fiddly to install but if you're generally handy or have fitted a gate before you'll have no trouble. Another review said you have to lift the entire gate when you open it, which is true, but that is true of all non trip style baby gates so it is not unusual. Gate is well made and sturdy. Love the black too, our previous one was white and this looks much nicer.

Easy to install. Good height so my dog can't jump over it. It swings to the side so there is no rail to step over when the gate is open and can be taken off when not needed.

Easy to fit and of a very sturdy construction. Didnt like stiff button locking feature, hence 4 stars, however does the job well.

Fitted and working. Looks really good and will definitely keep dog secure. Very sturdy, worth the extra ££. Recommended.

We got this gate to keep our rotty puppy in the kitchen. It is very sturdy, but so hard to use! Our guests always struggle with it. You need to press the button and lift THE ENTIRE GATE to open it. Also, the whole thing swings, so you need a lot of room. Then, to close it again, you need to lift THE WHOLE GATE and seat both the bottom and top clips into place - this takes more time than it's worth. Would much prefer an easy swing shut gate. It took my husband AGES to assemble it, and he's a cabinet maker. But we do like the look of it, and we like that it screws in - a little more permanent than the pressure-fit safety gates.

We have a puppy who will grow quite tall so perfect for gardens . Would be good for house too as our new house has wide doors for wheelchairs . Keeps her safe and allows her in the grandkids garden when we want .
