Very helpful, a lot safer & easy to use. Just practice it a few times and you'll get the hang of it. Good for people who stick their fingers inside a toaster. Great for those pesky small items that are difficult to reach - or for heating a chunky sandwich full of ingedrients.

Well made sandwich cages from Dualit, excellent value for two, they work perfectly in a Breville 4 slot toaster though need adjusting in a Rowlett Regent toaster. You can slide one side down slightly, making the cage slightly slimmer to go in the 3cm wide slots in the Rowlett (these sandwich cages have a drip base that’s just over 3cm wide, hence I suggest pushing one side lower that the other to fit. They hold the fillings really well with no dripping, I tried two cheddar cheese and tomato sandwiches and one banana, the slices don’t fuse together around the edges like a toasted sandwich maker but both hubby and I prefer that. I used medium sliced bread that fitted perfectly, just butter the outside of the bread thinly (as you would a toastie) and put the filling inside the unbuttered sides not too close to the edges and keep the fillings thinly sliced. Mind your fingers too when opening the cages as they are super hot. Super design I absolutely recommend.

Years ago I had a traditional toastie maker but gave up when I seemed to be continually scraping bread from the "non stick" plates. When our toaster expired recently we needed a new one. Having read a lot of reviews we opted for the Duallit and bought the sandwich cage to go with it. It seems ridiculous to rave over it - but it really is great and we have had so many toasties since it arrived. Butter your bread - medium sliced - butter side down. Add your filling and another slice of bread - butter side up. Make another if required and put in the cage. Slide into the toaster and 2 - 3 mins later you have your toastie! Toasted side is evenly done and it's a doddle to wash up!

Ich habe die Dualit Sandwichzange vergünstigt als Amazon Warehouse Deal erworben und bis auf einen leicht zerdrückten Karton und wahrscheinlich einmalig ausgepackt ist ansonsten alles wie neu gewesen. Vielen Dank dafür an Amazon. Es werden zwei Zangen pro Verpackung geliefert. man muss darauf achten welchen Toaster man hat, da es für die Classic Dualit Toaster eine andere Zangenausführung gibt. Ich habe den Dualit Lite mit 2 Schlitzen und hier passen die Zangen perfekt rein. Über den preis kann man diskutieren, aber wie wahrscheinlich auch soinst bei Dualit werden die ewig halten und erfüllen halt absolut ihren Zweck und die Verarbeitung ist definitiv gut. Ja ich weiß die sind nicht dafür gemacht, aber ich nutze eine Zange auch teilweise als temporären schnell greifbaren Aufsatz um schnell ein Bötchen aufzuwärmen. Ich habe zwar auch den richtigen Aufsatz, aber manchmal bin ich zu faul den herauszuholen und die Zange ist schneller griffbereit. Liegt zwar was wackelig auf, aber wenn man dabei stehen bleibt geht das :-) ganz gut. Ich liebe Dualit Produkte und die Sandwichzangen erfüllen ganz einfach ihren Zweck und daher 5*****

le produit est conforme mais à l'utilisation le pain de mie crame tout de suite même en baissant la température et à l'intérieur le jambon pas cuit, le gruyère pas très fondu :( Nous avons des plaques qui se mettent dans le grille pain mais pas de la même marque. Donc ne sont plus adaptées mais elles cuisent bien uniformément. On en retrouve pas dommage ! Ces grilles c'est pas le top, le pain est tout sec!
