The AVIATOR Pet Bird Harness and Leash: Mini Black

Ich trainiere aktuell mit dem Aviator einen meiner Wellensittiche. Das Tragen des Aviators ist nicht für jeden Welli angenehm, daher sollte man dem Tier die Gelegenheit bieten, sich daran zu gewöhnen und erstmal zu beobachten was das eigentlich ist. Bei meinem kleinen kommt es sehr gut an. Er genießt es sehr unter freiem Himmel auf der Schulter sitzen zu dürfen. Ebenfalls ist er nahezu ausbruchssicher. Entweder hat der Vogel einen rasiernesserscharfen Schnabel und kommt ohnehin durch solches Material durch oder man macht einen Fehler und durchtrennt das Teil. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit ist also recht gering. Selbst an zwei ausgewachsenen Rotbrustaras habe ich den Aviator schon testen können und war begeistert.

Thank you very much! Our chick is 2 months old, and we managed to put it on the first try. Of course, she is not thrilled, and when we stop during the walk, she tries to take it off. But most of the time, she just travels on my shoulder, and we are not afraid that she will fly away. It seems to press a little under her wings, but maybe she will get used to it soon and not notice it. We would like to have a soft version, like a vest, possibly with Velcro; maybe it would be more comfortable for her. But for now, this is the best option available.

Hard to get on our parakeet, but does get easier as both you and bird get used to it. Have yet to see our bird fly with it in, but she does enjoy touching grass.

my love bird weights at 62 grams which is under the (less than 75 grams - budgies, lovebirds, parrotlets) for size for this harness. I tried it on her and was very tight on her neck, i could hardly put it on over her head, seemed to have a little trouble breathing and when immediately took it off it was a struggle and even took off some fluffs. I am going to try the size up (petite) and hopefully that will be a better fit for her.

I wanna give it four or five stars but it just gets in the way of my budgies too much. They don’t really care to go outside especially with that on. Otherwise it’s actually great that they can get some time out. All four of them reacted completely different about it. I would recommend it tho!
