Nakoma 88720 "Rit" Liquid Dye, Multi-Colour, 8 oz

I had a pair of bright blue trousers that I spilled wine on. I thought they were ruined, but this helped me give them a second life. Will be trying it again in the future!!

Worked well, colour was great, I found I got a more intense colour when using the hot method rather than the cold.

They should sell this as a two pack with the dye as you do need this if you buy the dye else the dye will just wash straight out. It works pretty well at fixing the dye, you don't get much if any bleed after the first couple of washes. Cost wise though it does work out quite expensive when you factor in having to buy both products.

I have never dyed anything before, I followed the instructions and results were satisfactory. I would advise preparing everything well in advance, do a mental run through first, then go to it. Since this was my first experience of this process I under did it and will have to do it a second time but I was satisfied with the product. Purchased the colour and fixative also. Colour did not run in the wash.

I tried on 2 Ts and polyester shorts of black and dark maroon. It bleeds a little as described. After treatment, washed in cold water with a littler detergent and didn't see any colour bleeding.

Zwei neue Jeanshosen die leider abfärbten. Einweichen in Essig und Salz haben auch nicht geholfen. Dieses Mittel war die Rettung. Einmal verwendet und nach extra Spülung war das Abfärben weg! Wenn ich die Hosen nach dem Waschen nun nach rechts drehe, habe ich keine blauen Finger mehr. Möglicherweise muss man es nach ein paar mal waschen, wiederholen. Die Hälfte des Flascheninhalts reicht für zwei Jeanshosen und einer Jeansbluse vollkommen aus. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Worked great and what I needed to dye blue and it came out really pretty and the color is still in it after several washers. Rick is a great brand to buy if you want to color clothes.
