I love how well this is made and how clean the ingredients are. But since it’s made with honey, which means it’s a little thick, my 2 year old gagged at it so he wasn’t a fan but it did work to suppress cough.

My grown daughter uses it.

Food as a medicine. What a novel thought, yet it truly works. My children dislike this syrup, even with the newest lemon oil addition (which in my mind covers the older version's gagging taste of olive oil/apple cider vinegar very well) they still dislike it. However, I have seen this syrup work astoundingly well with no side effects, for boosting immune, relieving coughs, sore throats and head congestion. When young children become ill or are exposed to germs, there is not a lot of options on the market for over the counter medicines. Since every ingredient in this syrup is a food product, there are no safety concerns (unless someone is allergic to a certain food item) aside from not giving to children under 1 year old because of the honey ingredient. I recommend this product, my family has seen good results using Maty's products.

I am so glad I came across this brand! My older son will hold on to a cold for weeks before he finally kicks it. We have always used Hyland's products and while they helped kick the symptoms, they didn't seem to be helping to shorten the longevity of the cold. I ordered this via subscribe and save when everyone was healthy to have on hand. Sure enough a couple weeks after purchasing, I noticed my son coughing so we gave this a try. He honestly only needed it once in the morning for two days before the cough was gone. No other symptoms showed up. I definitely think that giving him this medicine at the very first signs of a cold solved it for us! Will definitely continue to purchase Maty's products in the future!

A few months ago I bought several Maty's products for my grandson and for me. We were both fighting coughs. We had good results from the cough syrups. I bought more to keep on hand for winter. .My original reviews dealt effectiveness. We found that syrup cut our coughs quickly. I found the taste of most of the Maty's cough syrups sweet but because they contain cayenne pepper a bit hot. This is no exception. I have compromised immune system issues so I take Maty's along with Sambucol Cold and Flue at the first signs of a cold. The combination works well.

I wasn’t sure if my kids would like this but they love it and I don’t mind giving them extra since I know it’s all natural. Fair warning this stuff is SUPER thick. Make sure to shake well before using and don’t be surprised when you open it for the first time and it seems half empty (because the syrup is so heavy). It’s a little hard to pour because of the thickness and the rim of the bottle gets sticky in no time. I find that this gives my kids immediate relief but I have to give it to them more often than a traditional cough medicine, so you can go through a bottle pretty quickly.

Due to a few reviews on Instagram I decided to give this product a try. I believe it works but the taste is not my kids favorite and it takes a minute for me to be able to have them take it. It’s consistency it’s very thick so I think that’s one of the issues with them. My four year old was gagging right after and she is not picky with medicines.Otherwise I think is good

I can only say great things about this product. I take it the 1st time I have anything and the next day it seem to be gone. I highly recommend this product. I hope it works for you as it does my family and friends. The taste is not fun to taste but the products inside is what our bodies need. Just drink a quick glass of water after and you will forget the test.
