Dimensions 35222 Tiger Chilling Out, Black

Absolutely love the design of the cross stitch kit! Can’t wait to get started this evening and will post the finished result (eventually!) The colours are vibrant and just as beautiful as they look from the picture on amazon. The chart comes spread over 2 pages but this isn’t a problem for me and is perhaps easier to manage than one enormous page. Please note. The thread organiser and q-snap frame (11x11) are not included in the kit. I have purchased them separately to help with the project and would highly recommend both products.

bought it for my daughter. Her first attempt at a black background. She says she can only do it during daylight and needs the light on as well, but it seems to be something she is happy with and will try again. She loves the picture and we can't wait to see the finished item

I love Dimension cross stitch, their fantastic quality and wonderful designs I've done many over the years considering myself now an 'expert' at cross stitch, thanks Dimensions. However this tiger was on a different level, firstly it's on a black background (well of course I knew that) secondly it's very intricate but above all I ran out of many of the colours, luckily I had lots of left overs. I sincerely hope that this was an unfortunate one off.

Another wonderful kit from Dimensions. It is beautiful when you see it up close. Lovely Aida & threads as always with Dimensions kits. I look forward to stitching this is design is different than other tiger kits I have & should look great when completed.

was difficult to do at times because of lack of sunlight. almost complete but ran out of thread. this is the first cross stitch I've done where I've ran out of thread. looks amazing so far . ordered some thread online so waiting to complete it.

Great kit, but probably not for a novice - if it comes out as well as I hope it will be stunning (but a lot of that will be down to how well I stitch it!) both the aida & threads are great colours - but quite dark really good lighting will be a must with it!

This is absolutely beautiful, the picture doesn't do it justice.

The only kit I've used so far before this one was stamped, which made it easily enjoyable. This one demands the eyes of a hawk and the patience of a saint. It's far too much to make it enjoyable - I rarely give up on things but I have this one!

This cross stitch project was incredibly detailed and lots of work but it was SO worth it. The details of this tiger made the image look like a photograph. It is truly an amazing piece of ART ! My son has been enthralled with working it all out as he LOVES doing cross stitch and needle point projects. We are just so thrilled to be able to purchase such beautiful designs. Here, in Coquitlam, BC, we can't get such fabulous projects. We have checked at Michael's and they have only small designs...5" x 5" or 9" x 9" and it's not worth your time to do this. My son has inherited this passion from his grandfather who created many needle point chairs in his day. He is waiting for two more cross stitch African designs that should keep him busy for quite some time. THANK YOU so MUCH !

I haven’t started doing this project yet, but I never met a Dimensions kit yet that I didn’t love. This is not a beginner project, working on black 18 count is the hardest colour to work on, but the finished product makes it all worth it for me. The smaller the stitch squares the nicer the final product looks. I can’t wait to get started on this gorgeous tiger. Must look amazing on the black when it’s finished. I like a challenge and a beautiful finished craft, this fits my bill. I always work 18 count (small squares) and already know that working on black is challenging. Perfect for those of us who appreciate a challenge. Very much looking forward to doing this!

Warning: Advanced pattern! It comes with 2 sheets of pattern instructions, both folded in 4 quadrants. Excessive folding can cause those instructions to rip on the seam, so be careful, because this will take you A WHILE. I recommend scanning copies of the patterns just in case. It also comes with 2 needles of different lengths. The longer needle did bend on me after a while, so I had to buy a pack to replace it. Plenty of high-quality floss, though! Enough to make mistakes. In hindsight, I wouldve made my back cleaner knowing there was enough floss. The pattern doesnt have clear corners, so start from the middle. There will be plenty of fabric leftover for framing.
