When I bought this I had only recently had my ears pierced and only owned the earrings that were in my ears. So I was not aware these were earring BACKS. So, I received these and naturally i was very disappointed. I nearly threw them away as I didn't get how they should fit together.Long story short, after buying many many pairs of earring I am so unbelievably happy I bought these. The amount of times I have lost an earring back is ridiuculous, and fumbling around trying to find one on a floor or in the car when you're in a hurry is so frustrating. Now I just carry a few of these with me. I never worry as I know I always have a spare somewhere, either in my handbag or in the car.
