What guarantee do you get with this saw?

If your going to buy it then make sure you use it alot in first 7days if it goes wrong they replace it for a new one. Mine went wrong after 18cuts they then not very interested wouldn't give me another one told might have to wait two weeks for new bit I boxed it back up and told them to shove it got my money back.

The images show different versions of the blade guard, which one is supplied with this, the old version or the new version?

All versions of the tool currently being manufactured would have the newest design features however we would not be able to advise on which would arrive as they have the same part numbers and this may be older stock held by the seller. Has the motor burn out problem been solved?

Yes, absolutely - the motor burns out much more easily now. [sarcasm] Not sure what you expect me to answer - silly question, frankly! If you own one and the motor burned out, then you can post your own review. If you don't own one, then you have no evidence of there being a "motor burn out problem".
