Built to Last, Great Heat Output
This heater is an absolute beast in our maintenance shop burning diesel. Odor isn’t an issue unless you let it run out of fuel and it will burp. Nowhere the fumes of propane stand or torpedo style heaters. Construction is very sturdy and we expect to have it for many years to come.

Smell
Good heat no smell reasonable noise level but must unplug it after use be cause primer pump keeps pushing fuel to igniter causes smell of diesel

The manufacture will handle problems
I was discouraged because the original unit had a tank leak. I immediatly filed a complaint and the responce fom the manufacturer was immediate. One week later I had a new machinee that arrived in perfect condition and functioned properly. They took owenership of the problem immediatly and cured the problem.Everyone is entitled to a mistake, but for the customer its how they react. Very responsible company.

Heats!
I like this heater. Does well for a non insulated 2500 square foot 14 ft ceiling pole building. Brought temps up from 30° to about 54° In the direction of the discharge. Still a bit louder than I expected and I can still detect order on start up which is expected. Overall better than the torpedo heaters for sound and odor. Way better fuel consumption.

Pricey but good
This performed as advertised, it puts out a lot of hear. My two employees who have breathing problems had no complaints. The were badly affected by the fumes from the salamander heaters that w were using. It is quieter than the torpedo heaters but noisier than I expected. pricey but good.

A lot of heat and fuel efficient.
My barn isn't isolated and drafty. This heater does the job. I use a propane salamander to help break the ice once the barn warms up I can turn off the propane heater. My gunfire maintanes.Very satisfied.

Still produces fumes
3000 square-foot shop with 16 feet ceiling, partially insulated. Exterior temperature 10° window open per instructions for unit. Interior temperature shop 23° after 4 hours. Close window 4 hours later 44° inside shop. Now 8° outside. In the sunlight coming in the window you can see a blue haze. After 10 minutes inside shop eyes start to burn slightly. After 2 hours I couldn't stand it anymore and to quit working and get out of the fumes. I did install a carbon monoxide detector which never registered anything harmful after 8 hours. I'll be honest and say I am sensitive to fumes like this, for instance my diesel torpedo heater chases me out of the shop within 1/2 an hour. Definitely less fumes than a standard torpedo heater. Does not allow you to close up the windows, and without the windows closed on extremely cold days won't do the job.

Sun Fire
Heater works great and is very quite which was one of my biggest concerns. Biggest issue however is fuel consumption. Boy does it eat the fuel.
