Avonstar Door Ramp British Made (4 inch high) Silver

My husband is paraplegic and this sturdy lightweight ramp is indispensable for allowing us to move from the road onto the footpath and then up the single step from the footpath onto our path to the front door. We also take it in the car with the wheelchair when visiting some of our friends who also have access difficulties.

Brilliant. Arrived next day. It is light enough for me to move and sturdy enough for my husband to use. Will fit in the boot when we go out (lockdown permitting) so wills be able to get into our our childrens houses with more ease. Excellent service.

This is a competitively priced 4" door ramp, which is of true benefit for my wife, who had to use a wheelchair to move me, immediately after I returned from surgery at hospital. The ramp removed the need for my wife to lift the wheelchair with me in it over a 4" step on our front path. Great as it's lightweight and easily moved, when not in use.

I recently moved to a bungalow that has a threshold to get into the front door. I was told by the OT that assessed the property that the threshold was 4" so I ordered the 4" ramp. Turns out her measurements were off so the ramp is about half an inch higher than the threshold. As I do not have carpets down yet in the new property there is a rather large drop on the other side but because the entrance is so small there isn't room to have another on the other side of the door. The ramp takes the weight of myself and my powerchair well. The only downside so far is that when the weather is wet my powerchair cannot get up the ramp as the wheels just spin on the bottom of the ramp. This means that if it rains I need someone with me to give the chair a push to get grip on the ramp. I'm hoping that this is only a temporary measure until a more permanent solution is sorted.

Its bigger than I imaged (my fault, no one elses), I could clip it on back of my power because it is light. But , I will be donating to the school for their step to help wheelchair users. Every time I go to vote they've got no ramp. This will be ideal for them. Would recommend .

Using a few months now, works perfect

Not a lot to say except in did the job exactly as we needed it to and as far as I am concerned there is no greater accolade to give this product than that. An excellent idea to help elderly and disabled people.

Lo scivolo è utilizzato in giardino dove c'è un gradino. E' leggero ma da l'impressione di essere comunque stabile e solido. Per l'uso che ne facciamo (passaggio persone o, saltuariamente, transito di un un carrellino che trasporta grossi vasi con piante) regge bene il peso.

J'ai acheté cette rampe pour rentré ma moto dans mon garage La version "4 pouces" a pour hauteur 10,2 cm, largeur 74,7 cm, profondeur 40,6 cm elle manque juste un peu de rigidité , j'ai cole un sac de mortier dedans et c'est nickel
