Photography Turntable 16.5inch/220lb with Remote Control

So I bought this thing to shoot some rotating product shots, and let me tell you, it spins better than Ross’s love life. And by that I mean it actually functions. Remote control? Yes. It does everything. Clockwise, counterclockwise, stop, go, slow, fast — I’m surprised it doesn’t also make coffee.Holds 220 pounds, which is great, because I used it to spin a giant beanbag chair and Joey sitting in it. Didn’t even wobble. Motor’s quiet too — like, “Monica secretly organizing your closet at 2am” quiet.Only downside? Every time you press the remote, it beeps. Loudly. So if you're trying to look professional, maybe don’t do this next to a sleeping baby or a judging cat. Still — rock solid tool. I’d marry it if Nevada laws ever loosen up.

My original review: All features are fine but the thing gets stuck when rotating and has to be restarted. It’s annoying and makes it relatively useless. UPDATE since having posted this review the company has reached out to me to rectify the situation. They were genuinely interested to see how it wasn’t working to help remedy issues going forward and they’ve offered to replace the unit. When I failed to reply timely they even followed up. I am shocked at how attentive and considerate their customer service is! Even though there was an issue with the first unit I got I would buy again from them in a heartbeat!

Good product and can handle a heavy item. The only issue is how thick the product is and takes up space in the the light box.

I did not get this for photographing things, but for putting Lego builds on as I work on them, or add light kits.And it works fine for that, but randomly when it is stopped, it simply starts moving again with no input by me to try to start it up. Which is a bit frustrating.I'm adding an update a month or so afterwards - I cannot stress enough how awful this is in how it simply starts moving on its own. I've taken to keeping it totally unplugged except when I'm using it, as I have a large thing on it that I've been working on - and I wake up some mornings and see it's damaged because this thing simply started spinning again at some random point overnight and it would hit things like the lamp and knock parts off... So it is now just a ONE STAR item.

We use this to do our photography. It makes it easy to get photos from every angle without have to reset the lights and camera. Would assume it is also a good way to display your merchandise as then people can see it from all sides without picking it up. Many different programs to make the turntable move in various ways. Just realize you need to have a direct line from the remote to the receptor on the unit to get response. It took us a while and several battery changes to realize this.

it is a fine product but the speed settings are slow, slightly slower and slower still. There is not enough speen settings and there are a million buttons on the remote that do absolutely nothing.

Works great. Included a few different color covers.

I used it to make my balloon carousel spin around. It was very lightweight and it served its purpose.

Very light and cheaply made. The power cable is very, very short so you will need an extension if you're going to put this any distance from the plug outlet (power cable is about 80cm/32 inches long). As others have mentioned, the power is 100-240v but has a North American plug so you may need an adaptor.I've not used it for long but it does give off a smell while it is powered on which I hope will go away. Not a burning smell but I will not leave it unattended until I am satisfied it isn't going up in flames.Different coloured mats are nice.The remote is not overly intuitive but the instructions are clear.3 stars because I received what I expected but less than what I hoped I was paying for.

It rotates with remote. Good for scanning.Made the mistake of leaving it on rotation for week. Didn't think much when walking by it cause it was described as constant use in showrooms.It will grind and mill it's self if left on.Update: seller confirmed a upper limit of 3 hours for continuous use. The power is dried lubricant and not milled plastic, as I guessed. Turntable sounds the same as when new, so that fits.
