Colad Fast Curing System Fine UV Putty 915011

Great for filling gaps and seams on scale models. There are a number of big advantages of using a product like this instead of the traditional solvent based putty. All I use now for the body work on my models is UV fillers like this and CA glue. 1) - No shrinkage. Because this product works on a process of curing rather than drying/evaporation, there is no shrinkage at all. This is similar to CA glue in this regard. 2) - Instant curing with UV light, no waiting, can be sanded immediately. Solvent based putty can take a long time to fully dry before sanding. 3) - Can be rescribed and re-riveted with a scriber and rivet marking tool. Similar to CA glue. Solvent based putty doesn't handle this well or at all in most cases. 4) - No nasty and toxic fumes. Theres a little bit of smell before curing but nothing compared to a solvent based putty. 5) - Sands and feathers out easily 6) - Large quantity because its sold for auto body rather than models

Turns a 45m wait to dry, then refill for shrinkage. Into a 30 sec. Sile with a good backlight flashlight. Best use for the ultraviolet hardening products yet. Makes you look for rock chips in your paint. Serious 30 sec. Ready to sand and stays in place

From what I hear, this is amazing stuff. I used a small amount, cited with a UV light, and the texture was perfect. A bit of sanding and snoring and it was ready for paint. Would not hesitate to buy again.

I saw this on Paint Society and have been extremely impressed with Colads other products. This goes on smooth, infinite working time, cures in a few seconds, can be layered without sanding, and sands really easy with no paper clogging using both super assilex and 3m abrasives. I absolutely recommend this product and will be adding this to my shop.

I really love the UV curing putty. I do not have a large fancy UV light, but I bought a pretty good one on Amazon for about 75 bucks. The repairs that I have been making are small stone chips all over my car this party cures hard and without pits I just love working with it, I was never that good at Bondo, but this is a game changer.

Great product

It worked good when I got to use it to test it out. When I went to use it a couple months later, it had all turned hard. It was sealed and stored in a drawer. Did not expect it to harden up, since it is in a tube that does not allow sunlight to get to the product and it was stored in a drawer.

This stuff is expensive, but you can't find it everywhere, and Amazon always has it in stock.

Works so well! Easy to apply, bought the 395nm light from Amazon for $120. Cures the putty in less than 30secs to sandable condition. Easily sand and reapply in minutes. From hammered out, uv bondo puttied, to paint in a matter of a morning on 16ga steel. Our paint guy was sold!
