I chop and freeze left over herbs. The airtight lids keep the herbs fresh and flavorful, ready to be added to my dishes straight from the freezer.I buy whole bulbs of garlic, separate them into individual cloves and crush then, freeze in bulb-sized portions in these tubs. This way, I always have fresh garlic ready to use. The same goes for ginger – I peel and slice or grate it before freezing, making it easy to grab a portion whenever I need it.

Good container-problem with lids
I make food toppers for my dog and bought these so I could freeze a batch. They’re a good size for a single meal and they wash and freeze well. The lids fit well but, getting them off is a problem because the lip is so small I have to use something to lever them off with.
