My hands and toenails have those annoying lines or grooves. This is sponges have the filing paper on all four sides. I want to foster a good environment for my nails to grow in a start taking care of the nail bed as well as the grooves that are growing from the nail bed. I wanna have natural beautiful, shiny natural nails, and this is the first step for me. They are also awesome if you have that annoying hard extra cuticle that grows around your nails or toes. They are excellent if you are trying to get rid of your fake nails or gel nails, for the grooves that are natural to certain nails, or preparing your toes and nails for any kind of manicure or pedicure.

Perfect 3 sided nail buffers. I do my own nails and love a 3 sided buffer. This allows you to get closer to your cuticle without tearing it up. I have found many are 4 sided, so I was pleasantly surprised to see these left the 4th side plain foam. Color is as expected. The finer to medium grit is perfect for natural nails if you need to rough them up, or for a light smoother to a buff on a nail dip or acrylic nail.
