Used this to eradicate moss in a shady lawn - worked really well at killing off the moss and greening up the remaining grass but be prepared for a lot of raking or scarifying after!

Does what it says, kills the moss, started to turn black within the day. Easy to mix value for money and overall well the quality is good

Single application of around 2gm per litre per square meter, resulted in beautiful lush green grass. Some places had a bit black appearance probably because of reaction of iron with moss. Overall, very effective and easy to use. Arrived in a sealed plastic container which had instructions printed on it. Good value for money, probably will last good couple of year. Dissolved easily in warm water. There were big clumps but they all break easily. Just be extra careful to avoid staining any patio or other surfaces.

My top lawn was coved in moss, it was like walking on a carpet when trying to cut the grass. So I’ve bought others in the past but the type that has the weed, feed, moss killer granules and no matter how even you think your spread it - it’s terrible. Yes they do kill the moss but in patches. This on the other hand, I dissolved in water and poured into a 8l spray bottle. Roughly 1 table spoon of granules to 1 litre of water. Pumped the spray gun and off to go. Yes it was a little slow going but that’s the sprayers fault. But this way you could see exactly where used sprayed as it was wet. Worked my way over the whole lawn and you can almost see the moss go back straight away. Left it over night and all the moss was black and dead. Then bought lawn weed killer liquid concentrate, mixed that with water and used the same but cleaned out sprayer. Again sprayed everting in sight and because it was weed killer for grass, it didn’t matter if I sprayed over things. Let that over night too and in the morning all the weeds were shrivelled up and dead. Scarified the whole area on the lowest setting and it look up everything. Every satisfying tho. Of course it looks absolutely awful now but it weed less and moss less. Now to get some seeds down and keep an eye on any areas that may need doing again. I can’t see it being much as I’ve killed everything ha ha. People say this has stained cloths and patios, I personally didn’t experience that but I did wear super old trousers and trainers incase. Will always do my lawns like this from now on. Great stuff

This year I wanted to try and improve our lawn because it had seen better days. I read that this stuff is good for killing moss and making the grass stronger. I'm a bit mixed on the results. It did appear to work very well at killing moss because my lawn had loads of it which is now all gone, although I'm not sure how much of that is due to the dry weather we have had this year. I can't say I've noticed that the grass looked healthier though. I had to return my first tub because it arrived with a crack in it and lots had fallen out, I wasn't impressed when it had dropped all over the floor in the house. Getting a replacement was simple and the second tub was fine. However it did have quite a lot of hard chunks that I had to break up with a hammer. The instructions were easy to follow and I did two applications with the tub so it works out good value but it is quite time consuming on a large lawn.

Bought this product many times before . It works well and easily. This delivery was lumpy and mildly damp. The seal semed to be unbroken. It is usable and i will buy it again if this delivery works. This post is for feedback to the manufacturer first and foremost

When you’ve fought moss year after year after year 😵‍💫 every single year - and tried every “recommended” (and invariably insanely expensive!!!!) product you can buy - it is a joy to find something that actually delivers!! And this does!! You get loads of it in powder form. It mixes easily and works incredibly quickly. All you need is 2-4/5gms per litre of water in a watering can - depending on how severe you moss issue is - and away you go. Works best in damp conditions or even when the lawn is wet and you’ll soon see the results. Just keep it off your pavers, bricks, pathways, driveways and concrete borders etc ‘cos it will stain them and don’t tramp across it for 12-24 hours and you’ll be as delighted with the results as I am. I tried MiracleGro 4-in-1 for years but I was never as pleased with the results as I am with this product. And then I use Weedol concentrated lawn weed killer to deal with the ugly weeds that try to infest every lawn, every year and, for once, I actually feel I have succeeded and really got onto the winning side of my perennial lawn problems!!! Yaaay!! At least this year I don’t have to scratch and scour away huge patches of ugly black dead moss all over my lawns and spend hours and hours reseeding, retending and regrowing half of them!!! And to me, that is a massive result!!
