Don waste £20 on Gymwash - this does it all at half the price! I hand-washed horse-riding gear on holiday, but had issues drying it. It developed a foot-type smell that biological laundry tabs, scent boosters, and hotter/longer machine cycles didn't fix once I got home. I used a capful of this for a 30min hot soak, then ran my usual 30mins 'daily' washing machine setting - they smelled like new again! I teach fitness classes for a living - this will now be a store-cupboard staple.

I use this for my teenage boys PE kit and sports tops, other items of similar fabrics such as bras and knickers. It gives a pleasant smell to the items and takes away ingrained body odour smells. I can only use a few washing liquids due to allergies and this one does not irritate me at all. We are in a hard water area, I still only seem to need a small amount.

This is absolutely amazing for getting the smell out of clothes. I have used it for lots of smelly sportswear and also to get the smell out of old clothes that have gone musty. However we've had to stop using it as it's absolutely ruined my partner's skin. It's so strong you can smell it on his skin if he wore a gym shirt that day - his skin still smells of the detergent even after a shower, even if the gym clothes barely smell of detergent! His eczema has gone crazy. Definitely doubt the claim about it being suitable for sensitive skin.

I bought this product as a last resort to get body odour from my partners clothes. They always smelt like BO and musty damp when washed. We tried everything, and I mean, all the old wives tales, different products that 'guarantee' freshness etc. None worked. I came across thus product and despite me gritting my teeth at the price thought "why not?" I'll be honest, I was really not expecting any results. Oh, was I wrong!! First wash (roughly 8 tshirts) on a normal cycle with this added instead of our normal detergent and some of our usual conditioner and the smell had 95% gone - I am really optimistic that when they're washed again, the smell will be none existent. The size isn't big for what it costs. It's the average size of a detergent bottle, HOWEVER, it works! We will most definitely be buying more and in my eyes it is totally worth the money instead of spending so much on other products that won't and don't work. If you're struggling with the same issue, try it, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Brilliant product, my daughter is in triathlete training and her training clothes become very smelly, nothing so far has managed to bring her sports wear back to normal freshness there was always a lingering smell which wasn't very nice for her due to bacterial build up in the fabric. I read up about Halo and decided to give it a go expecting it might take 2-3 washes before her training clothes became completely odour free......not at all just after the very first wash the odour was gone....amazing!! All her sports clothing is now nice and fresh smelling and there was no need to risk the sports wear by having to wash at high temperatures as Halo is effective as low as 30degs. I'm so impressed I have ordered some more and will use for my husbands work wear as well and my son's fishing clothes. Highly recommended, a product that does what is says!!

Effective product particularly good on underclothing and sweat layers. Repeat order, so enough said.

It does a great job and does work very well even with stubborn smells, however, I bought this for £6.99 in 2019 and now it's £19 in 2025! 5 star for the wash but 1 star for the price!

Before i purchased this someone made a comment to me about the smell of my armpits during a boxing sessions. I explained the smell was from my dry fit shirt, which not matter how much i washed it i just couldn't get rid of the smell and i didn't fancy binning it and buying another for £40+. I tried soaking, handing the works but just couldn't shift the smell. I googled around found this product mentioned on a running forum so i tracked it down here and gave it a go. All my sports gear smell brand new now. The first time i used it i used a cup full to soak my most problematic sports tops for an hour before washing, then used another cup full to wash them with at a low temperature. When the clothes came out i gave them a sniff and they smelled great but thats the same with any washing liquid or powder. The real test was when dry then wearing to box in. I started to sweat and get hot but my clothes didn't smell. After i finished training i took my top off and sniffed the armpits and the smell that had haunted me in the past was gone. Great product i just wish it came in a bigger size. I'll recommend ordering 2 at a time.
