Numbers, Colours, Shapes: A soft-to-touch, counting book for babies and toddlers (First 100 Soft To Touch)

My 1-year old nephew is obsessed with this book. Love the padded cover too!

I loved the look of this book for my 14-month old daughter. I was surprised on its arrival at how small it is! It's tiny! Less than A5. The book does have good quality "board" pages and a high quality finish, with lovely padded cover. The pictures are bright and attractive, but the publisher has squeezed more than one number or shape onto each page, up to four items on some pages, which is not ideal and makes the images too small and too much "going on" on each page. The book includes numbers (1-10), colours, shapes, opposites, "time to..." and places, which is a good range of learning areas. Another major positive is that the book's language is not "Americanised", but rather has proper English nouns. N.B. UPDATE - After several months, I've upgraded the rating from 3 to 5 stars! My little girl LOVES this book, and looks at it constantly. The small size has actually proved perfect for her little hands, and she loves playing "Where's the ...?" game and picking the correct image from those on each page. So colourful and fun.

Bought this for my 2yr old son, primarily to use when we are out and about, going to restaurants etc to keep him entertained as well as having some toys. The material is really easy to wipe down and clean, nice brightly coloured pictures used. Covers briefly quite a few ‘subjects’ and smaller than I thought which turned out to be a bonus as it fits in his nappy bag better and is easy for him to hold and turn the pages. He’s enjoyed this book and I think it was worth the money paid.

I bought this when my daughter was about 9 months old. It was a bit too old for her in hindsight, there’s a lot of information on each page. That being said she loves this book!! The pages that are themed by colour (eg green grapes, frog and leaf) look really good particularly and these are her favourite currently. I do think she’d get a bit more out of it from about 18 months - we’ll see!

Bought as a gift for the neighbours young toddler as she's just become a big sister. Lovely board book with bright colourful pages and no awful Americanisms which is something I look for. I prefer kids books to be easily understood by its intended audience. Some first words books are way beyond them or contain things they don't hear in their everyday lives. This is a small book but a useful one. Very fun for young toddlers as it offers so many chances for praise. Definitely good value for money

A fantastic book and one of my daughter’s new favourites. My daughter is 18 months old and loves it, we read it a couple of times a day. It’s about 20 pages long and shows numbers 1-10, then teaches 6 colours with examples, and follows up with shapes and examples of where they are found it also teaches happy & sad, Large & small, open & closed etc. It really is a lovely book. I would highly recommend it for any child that loves learning and books. Our Rosie is like a sponge at the moment and we love sitting together and reading so I will be buying more of these books shortly as she also loves the my first 100 animals book also by Roger Priddy.

It's a cute little box and I am happy with my purchase but the little accessories that stucks on the white board aren't complete. I was following the little booklet to make lpictures but I can't make some of them because all the pictures aren't there. Can you please get back to me and may he provide all the bits and bobs so my son can complete the pictures following from the book. Update- they sent me a new box and told me to keep the old as well. Great service.

This is a wonderful little book. Bright clear colours. Cleverly Designed to show a combination of numbers colours and shapes. Thus the child is seeing a number ir shape in a certain colour. A Good size for little hands Pretty robust so even roughly handed it will last a decent amount of time. Overall. A great educational attraction

Lovely coulors and shapes, very good for kids to learn how to count

Small but a good size for little hands. In addition to the titular Numbers, Colours and Shapes it also contains some opposites, daily routines and places. Very simple but perfect for my 1 year old and I'm sure we'll get good use out of it for at least another year (it's also sturdy).

My son is fascinated with the pictures of the "time to..." kids doing various things. He likes the counting pages, too. Very colorful and sturdy. Would recommend!
