Decent
Not the sturdiest of work benches, however, for the price, it’s very good. It’ll do most light to medium jobs with ease. I’d recommend this work bench for casual DIY-ers doing odd jobs around the house. If you’re looking for a work bench that would suit trade, I’d say buy a more expensive one that is better suited to heavier work loads. All said, this particular item is very easy to assemble, good quality and very much value for money. Recommended.

It's not bad at all
It's a good sturdy work bench You have to put it together and there is no instructions on how to do it took about 40 minutes to figure it out but all in all it's not bad at all for the small jobs

Disappointed
Based on the photos on the Amazon webpage, this looked like a Clarke workbench that I bought in approx 2002. Unfortunately it is not the same. The Silverline bench looks the same but is much lighter / less robust, and is also slightly lower in height. I'm disappointed. Also it requires assembly which took me nearly half an hour.

Low cost substitute for an old Black and Decker Workmate - hardly as good but fine for me

Guaranteed Forever? Who are you kidding.
Item is supposedly 'Guaranteed Forever'. The small print probably says '... or until you open the box'. This is a flimsy bit of kit and it's not well-made. On opening the box you'll find that the crossmembers marked 'Silverline' have probably got bent in transit. But hey, they're so thin you can bend them back with your fingers. Then you'll find that at least one bolt is so poorly made, that it's impossible to get a nut on to it. OK, raid the bits and pieces box for something suitable. After final assembly, move it to its storage place in the garage/shed. Then notice that one of the plastic feet has fallen off because it's slightly oversize. If you find it - and I did - by the time it's dropped off twice, you'll glue it on. And as for in use - well, it's so light that you'll need to put a foot on it to do anything at all, as it'll simply fall over or lean under the slightest pressure. Personally I wouldn't care to test the 100kg claim with anything of value. In summary, it's cheap for a reason and if you have some real lightweight jobs to do, it'll probably be ok. But for any serious work - cutting a piece of wood for instance - pay more and get something properly robust, not something made out of materials one step up from tinfoil, packaged in a shed where the quality control department is permanently out to lunch.

Put it all together loosely at first
So like most thing with plenty bolts, screws etc I tend to put it all together loosely at first so you've got that few mm to play with and in the case of this bench I'd say it definitely requires this, but overall it went together ok and seems a strong, lightweight bench
