Bought this as I had previously used a small gel pack after chiropractor sessions, at his recommendations and it works a treat. The beads are easy to move about when unfrozen so you can make sure they are distributed evenly but you could shape to your requirements if needed. I find it stays frozen on my back for a lot longer than anything else I have used and wraps around covering the whole area (and I'm no skinny girl!). Would recommend to anyone and everyone to use for a back problem or even handy to keep in the freezer for treating household accidents. I see the title is that it can be heated too, although I've never tried that.

I have had lower back issues for many years and have got relief from a variety of gel belts and packs , this one is the best yet it covers a good area providing better relief , only a minor issue the belt could be more central but I will be ordering a spare , i have only had it 24 hours and cant imagine life without it

A very good product, though the pictures make it seem bigger than it actually is. I use it mostly as a heat pad, and can confirm that when heated up according to the instructions, it does last for 20 minutes, as stated by the manufacturer. I should add however that the best way this works for me is by pushing all the beads into two of the three segments, and folding the third segment on top of the others to keep the beads from moving around (see pictures below, on the right, with all beads pushed form a segment to the others, on the left with the now empty segment "doubled" over the rest). This provides the best heat level for me, though of course preferences may vary. The downside is that it will heat only two thirds of its potential area. This is ok for my current problem (frozen shoulder), but it would not be good e.g. for my lower back, as using only two out of three segments would not take the whole of the back. So I think that those reviewers who complain about heat not lasting long enough do have a point, and I suspect this would be easily fixed by simply manufacturing this product with a larger number of beads. With this workarounds, it does the job for me.

After years of stuffing ice blocks or hot water bottles into scarves and wrapping them around my back only for them to fall out a minute later, at last, a proper solution to back pain! You can sling it over to reach a frozen shoulder or wear it round your waist or hips to get to your lower back. Anywhere basically. Absolutely brilliant. And when you catch sight of yourself in the mirror with that electric blue thing strapped to your back, you can pretend you're something out of Star Wars! Yay!

Great in theory and lovely quality item however it seems to be extremely hot when it comes out the microwave, to the point where it's almost too hot to wear, and then too cold within 5 minutes. Disappointed as I was greatly looking forward to using this and I often suffer from mild back pain, however it's not completely pointless. I'm yet to try it chilled yet but the heat side of things was disappointing.

Bought one three years ago and used regularly as heat pack and cold pack. Unfortunately the plastic seam split so ordered a replacement one. The family members have used it for sports injuries, chronic back pain and women’s specific cramps.

Second time I have purchased this product and found great pain relief. I also use it for pulled hamstring injuries Amazon delivery driver was also a brilliant ambassador, thunder rain but still a warg cheerful greeting and smile from him.

After a couple of uses it comes apart at the seams and all the blue beads fall out everywhere. I’ve bought three of these and they have all done it. I need to get my money back from someone. Can’t get through to seller to get a refund or find out why ALL THREE of therapearl wraps that I bought are faulty. I have photos and everything but no interest from them or Amazon I guess.

Aún sigo sin entender cómo de ajusta (cómo debo realmente usar el cinturón de Velcro) pero me está sirviendo muchísimo para lo que lo compré.

J'ai été opérée de deux hernies discales en bas du dos, elles sont revenues après plusieures années. Mon dos de contracte au fil de la journée et est très douleureux. La ceinture permet une diffusion de chaleur et détend la zone douloureuse. Elle est bien maintenue grâce aux scratchs. Très bon produit (mon mari l'utilise pour ses cervicales même si elle n'était pas faire pour au départ).

Love this icepack! It is wearable making it so convenient. The Velcro is strong. It freezes quickly and works great!
