Revlon ColorStay Makeup Foundation for Oily Skin

If you have oily, problematic skin, this is one of the best foundations you can buy that isn't high end. Does come slightly more pink toned than yellow toned (I bought the palest shade but think I needed the next one down), but for formula I can't fault it. Stays all day, provides oil control (my skin is super oily and normally I have to blot at least every couple of hours, with this I can wear it all day and probably blot once in that time). I have very sensitive skin and a lot of foundations break me out but this one hasn't, I love it! I'd say its somewhat comparable to Estee Lauder Double Wear in terms of finish and staying power, although I do prefer Double Wear a little bit more but for the price I can't recommend this enough.

I was pleasantly surprised at this foundation, I found it in my sisters old house clearing up and tried it on to find this was such a good coverage foundation. My skin is quite red so it is always hard for me to find a good foundation and this does exactly the job, it is so comfy on my face and I almost forget I have it on, it is one of those foundations u can build until u are satisfied. Even with 1 layer it is pretty impressive but since I have bad skin I normally put on 2 layers. It is so good for the money too! Enjoy

Definitely suitable for very pale skin! Gives full coverage and good on oily skin but can make dry areas of skin look a bit worse by settling under the flaky edges (I have combination skin). Doesn't seem to have broken out my face or made my pores worse. Can look cakey with powder on top so be careful. Blends well and does last a while (I'm not brave enough to test it for the full 24 hours as advertised). Will be buying again.

I give this foundation 5 stars because it truly is colour stay, all day long it lasts, disguising redness, i'm shocked by my face when I take it off! It really is fantastic, although I do find the ivory shade to be ghostly white and therefore it does need brightening up with luminising powder and blush, but it's awesome!.

I absolutely love this foundation. I have red hair and very pale skin and the ivory colour covers really well and matches my skin tone. I really do struggle to get a shade that doesn't make me look orange and this foundation is perfect. I also have really oily skin so the 'combination/oily' range is great. I must admit I do start to shine towards the end of the day in the summer months but this is by far the best foundation I have come across to meet everything I need. The bottle was a little annoying because I often poured too much out but they now have the pumps attached so I can't complain about that. The foundation normally lasts around 4 months and that's using it more or less every day. The foundation is a thick consistency so it really does go far.

It does look good on my skin but it didn't keep my skin oil free very long at all let alone 24 hours

Fantastic product. It covers very well and feels just like skin. The shade that I got is spot on and it does not look cakey once applied. I love the range of shades that are available. I also love that this brand caters to different skin types - extremely helpful! I doubt that I will ever use another foundation after this! I would highly recommend this foundation!

I've used A LOT of different foundations, but the Revlon Colour Stay is my favourite by far!!! I have really pale skin, so I battle to find a base colour that doesn't leave me with orange streaks and terrible pigmentation. The Revlon Ivory shade is perfect for my complexion, and blends in so well. I'm not left with streaky lines (especially along the chin), and the foundation is 'liquidy' enough for me to easily, and evenly, apply it to my face. This was the first time ordering Revlon from Amazon - I used to make frequent trips to Boots (what a pain), but this will definitely be my purchasing method from now onwards. Arrived the next day, well packaged, in perfect condition! Just make sure you know what shade you need before purchasing!

Jeder, der ölige Haut hat, kennt das Problem: die Foundation schwimmt schnell weg, die Poren kommen in vollem Glanz zum Vorschein oder die Farbe dunkelt durch das Öl sehr nach/wird fleckig. All das habe ich mit dieser Foundation nicht mehr! Für mich gehört sie zu meinen absoluten Favoriten. Zum Produkt selber: - Ich habe sehr, sehr helle Haut, teilweise mit Rötungen. Der Farbton ist für mich ein wenig zu dunkel, doch das nehme ich gerne in Kauf, weil mich das Produkt ansonsten völlig überzeugt hat. Außerdem bin ich es bei meinem Hautton gewohnt, dass die Farbe nicht passt und mische sie mir daher etwas an. - Leider besitzt das Produkt keinen Pumpspender, sondern muss so aus der Flasche entnommen werde. Nimmt man ein Makeup Schwämmchen zur Hilfe, ist aber auch das kein Problem. Der Verschluss wird auf lange Sicht gesehen etwas schmutzig. Bleibt man bei der Methode mit dem Makeup Schwämmchen, kommt man damit aber nicht in Kontakt. - Ganz wunderbar ist die Deckkraft, die auch wirklich lange anhält und nicht weiter nachdunkelt. Ich würde sie als mittel+ einschätzen. Trotzdem wirkt es nicht wie eine Maske. - Das Produkt ist sehr ergiebig und hat eine angenehm leichte Formel, die sich sehr gut auftragen lässt. Das Finish ist noch leicht glänzend, sodass ich eine dünne Schicht Puder auftrage, weil ich es matt lieber mag. Das ist aber kein Muss, das Finish schimmert wirklich nur noch leicht. Das Produkt hat zwar ein paar kleine "Fehler", die mich aber nicht weiter stören, da mir die gute Deckkraft, die Formel und die der lange Halt viel wichtiger sind. Wer sich mit Abstrichen im Bezug auf Anwendung (kein Pumpspender) leben kann und ein nicht völlig mattes Finish möchte, sollte sich dieses Produkt meiner Meinung nach kaufen. Für mich war es definitiv nicht die letzte Bestellung.

A mí las bases líquidas de Revlon siempre me han funcionado bien. El color, la textura, no son grasosas, duran bien, se quitan bien. En fin, no será la marca más cara ni exclusiva pero cumple BIEN su cometido.

I’ve been using the Revlon ColorStay Liquid Foundation in 110 Ivory for the past few weeks and I’m genuinely impressed. For the price (especially when it’s on sale), this is one of the best drugstore foundations I’ve tried.What I love:Matte finish that actually lasts — It lives up to the 24HR claim for me. By the end of a 10+ hour day, my skin still looks smooth and shine-free in the T-zone, which is huge for combination/oily skin. Medium-to-full coverage — It covers redness and minor imperfections really well without feeling cakey. A little goes a long way; I only need 1–1.5 pumps for full face. SPF 15 — Nice bonus for daily wear, though I still layer sunscreen underneath. Shade match — 110 Ivory is a great pale/neutral match for me. It blends seamlessly and doesn’t oxidize much. Vitamin E & antioxidant formula — My skin feels comfortable even after long wear. Minor notes:It can emphasize dry patches if your skin is dehydrated, so good moisturizing/skincare prep is key. The pump is convenient but sometimes dispenses a bit more than needed. Scent is very faint and dissipates quickly (not heavily fragranced like some older formulas). This has become my everyday go-to when I want a reliable, long-wearing matte look without spending $40+. The fact that it has tens of thousands of reviews and still holds a solid 4.5 stars says a lot. Highly recommend if you have oily or combination skin and prefer a true matte finish.Would buy again — already planning to repurchase when I run out!
